England finished much the stronger side and winning with the penalty in the last minute doesn’t tell the story of the game.
Just maybe them playing the game instead of being arseholes made a big difference to their performance

I almost certainly missed something (so apologies if I've missed something particularly nefarious), but the biggest arsehole in the last game for me was the Saffa going out of his way to enthusiastically clap in the face of the England player who'd kicked it out on the full. Pretty tame in the wider scheme of things, but it wasn't a highly niggly game on either side.

You missed the constant goading it would seem which was notably absent today
My guess is their coaches had a word about that and they played very well today

The teams stay at SAS Stellenbosch. England's players visited Markotter on Saturday, experienced the real SA interschools schoolboy rugby spirit.

Yes I hate that. A South African forward did the clapping and jeering thing in the France match too.

TBF the whole thing seems to be played in a pretty good spirit. Also good to have really good age group broadcast coverage, which SA seem to do better than anyone else.

Ja lots of rugby being covered here. Check out this real grass roots club rugby match played in the Kouebokkeveld mountains in the Western Cape. Op-die-Berg has a population of 1541. Looks like the whole village is there.

Breyton Paulsen roots. I went to Paarl on Saturday and drove past Faure Stadium after the New Orleans vs Klein Nederburg interschools, my son coach at Hugenote Wellington and they played Saturday against Swartland interschools.
Most of their facilities at Markotter, Oom? Just down the road is Coetzenberg and the High Performance centre. When I visit my daughter I do my walking there and up the mountain. Lots of top international athletes train there.

Just over the river from Markotter, entrance next to the BP garage in Dorp straat. All Paul Roos 1st teams (hockey, rugby, soccer) do their preseason conditioning at SAS. Awesome facilities.
