I've not had the need to on here yet. I only tend to put pure (often short lived) troll logins on ignore. And Globby, who I could deal with, but drew the line when he went on a spree of posting tons of one line consecutive posts.
Hah, I think we both produced screenshots of the same list of blocked posts.

I've made liberal use of the block/ignore function on PR in the last few years. Definitely helps.
Thankfully this place hasn't developed it's own s idiots yet.

The humorous bit is I wouldn't vote for either the Nats or Labour atm any way.

Pretty funny people turning to banning for no reason though.

Which crowd ? And which forum ? I can’t seem to find a link there, I did have one years ago but was on old work account and I only really went on during world cups. Was just too lefty Chavvy sexist and racist, even for me !

Keith, Muttonbird, Derwyn et al have joined the F365 forum, they set up a rugby sub forum. It's about what you'd expect, and your summary of the soccer crowd is sadly not far from what I found over there. See for yourself:

You need to register to view it I think

Ah ok - might have a peruse some time, a couple of pals of mine are on there I think. Glad you and I had same opinion of the clientele there, I mean just how fucking bad must it be if even I think ‘god that’s a bit sexist / racist / anything ist’

Just different yardsticks and sensibilities , there id be in the ‘grrr all you Tory posh rugger twats are egg chasers who play soggy biscuit every day” bracket, here .. well, am just yeeb really.

It’s a shame because some of the football stuff and the funny pictures things there were immense like ‘where’s Carlos valderamma’

I had a look. There’s a banner saying they are experiencing some technical difficulties due to an upgrade. Fixing it but in the meanwhile some users can’t log in.

Just wondering, why is anyone worried about PR? And isn't this really very similar? I mean seems at times there same abuse by some posters if you don't agree with their posts completely etc etc. We should have threads where you can do that and better still threads where everyone is encouraged to have opinions of there own and we all except it and discuss what we see as differance etc.

There is a bit of a regional split between here and PR. I was most recently interested in PR to see the Australian perspective of Bledisloe 1.

Awful ads.
It looks so cheap.

Had been fine with my old browser and adblock but I guess they changed something in the scripts to get around it.

Seems ok in Firefox though.

A lot of sites are now using scripts to force you to disable ad blockers before they let you in.

Main advantage of the old PR is the greater traffic and chat to keep topics developing. That is rather offset by the extremely tedious, circular feuds between certain posters which infect every thread any of those posters take part in. All posters involved should just set up a dedicated thread to pell mell each other to their hearts' content; they do not contribute fun "bantz".

Long may those feuds stay away from here, though I've noted a few germs starting.
