In all honesty I think this is a great test for Ireland. There are definitely creaks and cracks appearing in their dominance (apart from knock outs obvs) so will be interesting to see if it's just a blip or the beginning of the end of the era.

They looked jaded and worked out towards the end of last year's 6n and there's a feeling that things need freshening up.

Farrell scooting off soon and the effect of that is unknown at this point. Certainly not going to help us next year anyway but may even impact us now.

Oh and our lineout has been terrible.

We know that feeling - it hasn't gone away yet

Another hour before kick off. Braai done with a few cold ones and a charge office coffee. Now to stay awake, no way I'll miss this one.

I appreciate that some folks don't like it because of the difficulties in getting to a game, but for the tv viewer, I feckin love top level Friday night rugby

I hope the 6N bring it back.

I love how Ireland wheel out their leprechaun every game. He must be 150 by now.

Then 4 anthems and a haka

next thing we know it's Saturday afternoon

I love TNT Sports, no Irish commentators and a decent Irisher in BoD co-commentating

Why isn’t kama te performed any more? Forgot the reason. Something not politically correct or something. Always only kapa o pango, which i find is lame.

Kapo O Pango is the haka written for the All Blacks. It is theirs and it should be the only one they use

ABs performing the artificial crappy o tango again. Marler was correct. It's nothing more than tedious bollox and should be consigned to the bin.

Nah, that was the 3rd ruck already that Ireland have had a player come out the back to slow it down. It’s a tactic of theirs and the ref is onto it hopefully

I was looking mainly at the man solidly over the ball. I didn’t think the Irish lad at the back was slowing it down too much.

Ratima is passing straight at DMac who is static as a result.

He’s blocking players coming in to clear, they do it all the time
