It's not very very good, Mr. Commentator.

We're playing Japan FFS.

It's very very irrelevant.

It’s possible to be overly negative about that

Yes, it is.

Awesome recovery by Smith there, was convinced the winger was going to score that

Another dumb penalty by Curry.

It's just been so sloppy.

England give up another break because Slade charges and doesn't stop the pass. Great tackle by Marcus, mind

Not getting that if it just a knock on, if the team kicks it and it's not a good kick, the ref calls it back for a scrum?

Depends if they were under pressure

Japan screaming and hollering when winning a penalty at 35-7 down. No doubt the kiwis will be first in line to criticise.

It's a sad day when I find myself agreeing with Austin.

There is a very good team waiting to be born here, it’s the main reason to be frustrated

Austin doesn't know the difference between 6 people and 3 people, mind. England score from that field position - Slade with a great take and kick and Freeman with a spectacular pass for the score

That was lovely, and shows the benefit of playing club players together.

Sickening to come to HQ and show such little respect for Rugby Values

But now I'm angry that they've taken Furbank off instead of giving F Smith a run with his club back three.

Yes, it's stupid.

Slade with a useless forward pass. Fucksake.

Slade proving my often uttered 'Twelvetrees mk.2' comparison/insult...

Follows up creating a try scoring opportunity with a no pressure forward pass.

Exactly, we see enough flashes of genuinely good stuff that the rest of it is more aggravating than if we were just shit.

Sleightholme has Brown's determination in contact (and nose for the line), but with actual wheels.

Ben Kay is one hell of an analyst if he's able to tell the difference in two players based off one pass

Almost every kicker is trying to use the full amount of time for some reason

Another try saver from Smith.

Edit not enough..very good offloads to create that.

Japan's conditioning and techniques for taking the ball into contact does look sharp. Good body positions and leg drive.

Just looking at the defence lines. England either aren't doing it right, or it's a shit idea.

That's a lovely finish. Not the best kick Fin will ever do, but he made the most of it

It is nice to see Eddie's descent continue. This is even worse than the hiding they got in the summer.

Spanking Japan twice must feel pretty good for some of those players who were happy to see Eddie go.

Hmm that's a poor missed touch from the penalty. Shame, because I definitely think Fin should be the one taking those

Fin with another nice pass, Marcus with another nice kick.

I don't think they should play together, but I do enjoy watching two high quality players make it work.

Why kick that when you're 59-14 up with 4 minutes to play, give it to Sleights and let him get angry.

LCD butchers another late game attacking lineout.

Austin wants England to play Marcus at fullback moving forward thanks to Fin's nice touches in this shellacking. Hmmmmm.

I'm sure no teams would target high balls. Why has Austin become a parody.
