Kellaway was very clearly knocked out when JvdF scored, how the fuck was he allowed to play on?

Just saw that KO on the highlights. Crazy stuff.

The game itself was frustrating with both teams poor overall despite some stand out individual efforts but resorting to accusations of ref blaming is a diversion from your own team's poor effort and signs of serious decline. They might have doid.

I've been quite open that we've been in slow decline since our usual peak in between world cups beating NZ in NZ.

All I see is folks screeching about the ref favouring Ireland game after game and it gets kind of old, especially when the pattern is related at club level.

ah, sure... I'm not blaming the ref. Australia had their chances and didn't capitalise, I've no issue with that. While we're at it, I've never made comment about refs favouring Ireland. I do make a habit of discussing ref calls or non calls at times though, as many of us do. if it suits you guys to rationalise that away as blaming the ref for the Wallabies loss then have at it. I've got no emotional bag to carry here.

I don’t think anyone actually thinks refs favour Ireland. But it does happen game after game that Ireland push the boundaries, especially at breakdown and scrum, and it rarely gets picked up. When it does there is a noticeable difference in their effectiveness

The rucks are a fucking mess across the game, with multiple players off their feet all the time. Are Ireland guilty of this - you betcha. Is everyone else as well? Absolutely!

It's not helped by poachers adopting a body position that would result in a ruck defender being pinged for sealing off, or defending teams being pinged for hands on the ground yet offensive players being allowed to defend a ruck on all fours!

The officials need to sort it the fuck out, but until they do, teams would be stupid to hamstring themselves by obeying interpretations of the ruck laws that don't exist in reality!

I fucking hate it, but it is what it is at the moment.
