The Bulls vs Sharks match was the best match we have seen since lockdown was unlocked....

However.....I felt the Sharks were way off the pace and not very coordinated. They need to sort out their shit very soon...can't have the Super Rugby log leaders playing kak rugby.

Bit of a leap saying just because its the Sharks based on early season...Us fans are not impressed and I don't feel comfortable.

Hopefully all the players have had a chance to adjust to full-contact rugby and playing in an empty stadium, so that the Currie Cup is better quality.

Some of the English teams actually got psychologists in to study the effect of playing in empty stadiums; especially the effect it has on defence in the 22 where the local crowd tend to get behind their team.

If the Premiership is anything to go by, we will be seeing high-scoring games with lots of penalties. And lots of swearing on the ref's mic.

I suppose the coaches wanted to tick off those doos's .... so understandable.
Look, the kicking is part of the Boks gameplan. With Rassie and Nienaber there it wont change.
So we need to consider the execution of it and make informed decisions around that...I thought Nohamba was the best by far on the day....remember this lighty is a retreaded flyhalf. And his goal kcking is definitely not the worst out there ( we saw the worst on Saturday )...so he adds that dimension.

I just want to see rugby like we saw the Sharks play in the Soup comp....that was high intensity and accurate and edge of your seat stuff....

?Anybody else notice how the breakdown has changed since we started playing again? Seems to be a lot more turnovers. Possibly because the refs are rewarding fetchers and/or punishing players who are dominated in a tackle.

Just seen , in September he was ruled out for 4 months with the shoulder injury.

I must admit that I am very nervous of a huge Sharks backlash this weekend. The 2020 Super Rugby Champions * will be hurting and will want to redress the past and show just how good a team they are.
The Sharks are going to throw everything that they have a the Cheetahs and I am not sure that the semi professional Rugby team from Bloemfontein will be able to stem the black tide.
Sure, the Cheetahs narrowly beat the Bulls, but any coach with half a brain can beat them. Just move that monster huge pack around until they tire . And keep your discipline up, so that the old age pensioner at 10 can't kick the penalties.
What really counts in the 2020 Super Rugby Champions * favour is that they are used to playing in their home stadium without crowds of supporters.
To put this into perspective: this is the 2020 Super Rugby Champions * playing against the Pro14 also rans. The greatest Franchise Competition in the world against a northern hemisphere competition that is dominated by teams from Italy, Scotland, Wales and the Kings.

Yet you expect the Springbokke to play against the All Blacks without any matches.

The Cheetahs will be rusted after three weeks. Sharks should beat them with ease.

Last week after the hammering by the Bulls the Sharks were hard at it training there guts out....the whole week.

I am a Cheetahs supporter. When they were unfairly excluded from Super Rugby, I needed a team to support. I chose the Bulls because of the quality of their supporters.

Now the Cheetahs are back, I support them.
