one thing we learned is hat Perofeta is not a good fullback apart from that one rushing tackle, he has been poor... Blues may need to look fora fullback soon, zarn is too green
Agree that Perofeta has not been good.
Otere Black is a well-organized 10, shown again tonight. Never going to set a game alight.

MABs have stepped it up early in the 2nd half. Following T Browns advice is working. And beautiful try!

Stunning try to the Maori. Skills, Tupaia and Proctor.

I thought Rayasi was an AB in waiting, I’ve got my doubts about him now, went missing last week in the Final and not been great tonight.

what kind of goose wears a Broncos jersey to a match like this? What semiotic signal is he sending?

Otere Black, he’s not flash but he does everything well. Outplayed his opposite tonight.

As long as he has some X factor players around him, he can be a real asset to a team.

He's definitely more Grant Fox than Beauden Barrett, but that's not a bad thing. His game looks suited to test rugby and IMO he's been the 2nd best 10 in NZ all year behind Mo'unga.

Seems to have the right temperament for test rugby, I’ve not seen him get flustered and do anything stupid.

He was the better of two competent but uninspiring tens. That doesn't cut it at test level.

Couldn't disagree more. Test matches are won by competent 10's who aren't obsessed with razzle dazzle.

I thot josh was better, Leicester was a let down,. so was salesi..fakatava was gold.. should have played macilai instead, Saturo changed the game when he came on..need more fijians for fun aspect like narawa at 15, not perofeta, koroi and nareki? where are they? they mentioned the Pacific islander team a few times, if they actually watched those games, it was the fijians who scored the tries in those :P

Where was Pari Pari Parkinson? Is he still injured? He has "All Black" written all over him, though I also like the look of Jacob Pierce from Harbour.

I've been raving about PPP all season, but I also think that Manaaki Selby-Ricketts is an AB in waiting, and has probably passed his Highlanders teammate in the pecking order of NZ locks.

Shit we agree on something again

, I a huge PPP fan, but was real impressed with Selby-Rickett a few times this year, and tonight was one of them, looks to have the goods, let's see him continue on with it.

I quite enjoyed that - forwards on both sides seemed to make ground with the ball but defences played quite well.
Solid performances there from a lot of the MABs - Trask stood out well for me (easier to do from 15) and Selby-Rickit.
Got fucking wet getting back to the car though - a well timed shower.
