Stormers had a good first half. Hope they can keep it up.
Stormers playing better than I expected. Willemse not looking bad at 15! Some shit kicks, but in general, positive contributions for once.
Bulls terrible tonight. It’s actually worrying that we are only up by 6 at halftime the way the Bulls are playing.

Stormers back to being their own worst enemies in the second half gifting the game to the Bulls.
So many penalties in the second half giving the Bulls the territory and possession they were starved of in the first.
Handling errors, lost lineouts and turnovers galore.
And the Ruhan Nel gets a yellow and penalty try for a deliberate knock on. He must have some record by now for shit like that. I don’t think there has been another player with such a poor interception vs. deliberate knock-on ratio as him.

Heartbreak for Augustus. He knew he knocked that on.
Credit to the Stormers for fighting to the end. I didn’t expect them to have it in them to actually steal it back. Got closer than I gave them credit for.
That drop will haunt Augustus for many days to come. Poor guy.

The Stomers look much better keep ball in hand. Hope we see more of that.
Naaaah, certain "elite" poster have been assuring us these games and the results thereof are meaningless, so Trokkie won't even be disappointed about it.Blake wrote: Fri Mar 19, 2021 6:53 pm Heartbreak for Augustus. He knew he knocked that on.

The combination of a big, strong and athletic pack and a deadly ball in hand backline .OomStruisbaai wrote: Fri Mar 19, 2021 6:55 pm The Stomers look much better keep ball in hand. Hope we see more of that.

Marko van Staden my MOTM. Leicester Tigers getting one hell of a player.
Agreed. Seems to have developed a bit of mongrel in his play as well which I always thought he lacked. Happy that he has stepped up.OomStruisbaai wrote: Fri Mar 19, 2021 6:59 pm Moerat impressed as captain. Look like the role make him play better aswell.
Van Staden was a monster today. Our loosies completely outgunned at the breakdown.

Move him to wing, that's his best position anyways.boere wors wrote: Fri Mar 19, 2021 10:28 pmOomStruisbaai wrote: Fri Mar 19, 2021 7:21 pmMake him captain and replace after 20 mins with Marco.![]()
With Flouw retired we are going to need a player with a similar skill set to fill that niche in our gameplan.Sandstorm wrote: Fri Mar 19, 2021 7:18 pmPlus PSDT and Duane. Van Staden seems to be one of the front runners IMO.
