Yep, it was a tough watch all right.

Any word on Vaa'i's injury? And it's a worry to see DMac with such a heavily strapped leg. Timely bye next week.

Highlanders vs Reds kicking off now in Dunedin.

Still having sodding issues finding a decent link. This flash one's the only working vid I can find, but there's no audio! Clicking the Unmute button leads to shite...

Clan vs Reds has just kicked off and Clan almost scored in the first minute.

Reds score. Hastie won't want to watch that tackle attempt again.

Clan ahead 17-12 at HT.

After conceding 2 tries the Highlanders have been very impressive.

TUJ has been good after his long absence. He looks a lot faster than his brother. And good skills so hopefully he can stay fit. Overall the backline has been impressive backed by a sound forward display

If they keep this up they should win

Just watched the disllowed last no try replay. Wonderful to watch again.

What has happened to the Clan's scrum?

All Reds in the 2nd half

Yellow card to stupid de Groot

Reds go into the lead 24-20 with de Groot in the bin and 15 minutes to go.

Highlanders were just hanging on anyway. de Groot was struggling in the scrum and maybe wanted a rest

Reds deserved winners 29-23.

Thought the Highlanders looked good going into HT, but they were owned in the second forty. Got the losing bonus point, but still...

29-23 Reds

Red totally on top in the 2nd half. They made the Highlanders look a bit ordinary and disappointing. Unsure what happened to both teams at HT but it had a positive impact on the Reds. Landers the opposite.

It's been a while since I watched a game in silence. Hope I can find a link with sound before the Main Event.

Match of the round coming up soon - Blues vs Crusaders at Eden Park.

Sotutu back for the Blues, and Perofeta starting at 10. Looking forward to watching Taele again.

Ennor out for the Saders, which is a damn shame as he was very good on his return last week.

Both named hookers out too, Eklund and Taylor.

In his defence, he runs and moves just the way you would expect from one look at him.

HT 20-7 Crusaders

Blues have been poor, With Perofeta one of the worst. Not up to it as a first at this level. Plummer has been limited this year but would still bring him on

30-7. Blues are poor. Too many unforced errors. Hopeless first 5 display. The rest of their AB backs are average
