Oh, come on. For as long as I have been involved in rugby, the highest number of injuries happen when pre-season moves to full contact. You're guaranteed to lose a few players during the first week of full contact work prepping for the league season ahead. Some really good rugby in that game I thought and some very good individual performances on both sides. The Edinburgh back row were superb, Scott Cummings was excellent and Jaco VdW was very good.
Jones was solid at FB although not really tested. Both front rows were solid too - hard to say either had the upper hand.
Seymour was utterly anonymous - I'm not sure I remember his name being said a single time the whole match. Duhan was fairly anonymous too, but popped up with that one excellent run that led to the second Groom try.
Nobody had a poor match really.

Exactly, that's what I mean. Edinburgh will want a home semi. If Munster lose tonight however, that is secured and therefore there is no risk in playing Chamberlain from the start. Edinburgh play before Munster both matches so Munster will know what is required next week should they win tonight. They will also know next week if Edinburgh have lost.
Maybe the chat about him being Scotland qualified isn’t so stupid after all. If he plays like that consistently he’ll definitely be worth a spot in and around the squad. Didn’t see the game tonight due to dinner, bath and bed time (not mine). I thought he was poor.
