Great to see a Maritzburg College Zululander Fez Mbatha have such a great game. My club rugby connections in KZN are talking him up as a future sharks captain. They see he is the real deal, great leadership potential. Last week we saw Greytown and Glenwood boy Khuta Mchunu show his stuff too. Some real beasts emerging from the heart of kwaZulu.

Gideon van Wyk is a real talent,but not sure which top 10 international team he would make. Engelbrecht is a decent Currie Cup level player at best, he would not make the Japan or Italian national teams.

Elton needs to start making his case for starting flyhalf berth against the Lions. There is zero news about Pollard's recovery. I read that as bad news.
