There is absolutely no prospect of Musk becoming involved in any US cabinet due to the Ethics in Government Act 1978 and Title 18 U.S.C. § 208: Acts affecting a personal financial interest.

You do realise how absurd it is to talk about "ethics", when discussing the potential Cabinet appointees of the orange traitor ?
There are already several of his previous appointees who've been gaoled, & numerous others who'd also be sitting in a cell, if he hadn't pardoned them !
He.Doesn't.Give.A.Fuck !!!!
Which has nothing to do with the contents of the Act, so climb off the soapbox.

Not a soapbox, a history lesson !
The Act was in place during the last Administration of the traitor, & how successful was it in preventing various grifters, con men & traitors from inhabiting appointments ?
The rule of law in the US depends on the proverbial "Good Chaps", being in positions of responsibility as much as the UK, & in particular it depends on the AG not being a Political lickspittle, who just turns a blind eye to every infraction, & decides not to prosecute, & that's exactly what happened between 2016 & 2020, & then at the end of the great steal, the biggest thief handed out pardons to we don't know how many, so depriving any incoming Administration from chance to prosecute if statutes of limitation haven't all run out.
Laws are just words without enforcement, & enforcement depends on Political appointees.

Diddy, a Saudi prince, Larry Ellison, and more newly revealed investors in Elon Musk's X
Court filings revealed the names of the almost 100 investors in the social media company formerly called Twitter
The new look at X’s backing comes as The Wall Street Journal reports that the $13 billion Musk borrowed for his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter has turned into the worst merger-finance deal for banks since the 2008-2009 financial crisis.
Due to X’s weak financial performance, the banks haven’t been able to offload their debt without taking a major loss. Much of X’s revenue comes from advertising, which came in at just shy of $744 million over the fist six months of 2024, a 24% decrease compared to the same time last year, according to ad-tracking firm MediaRader.
The social media company’s struggles under Musk’s leadership may mean that investors’ stakes have lost some of their value. Here are 11 of those shareholders, from a Saudi Arabian prince and disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs to titans of Silicon Valley.
Elon Musk satisfied the demands and provided a list of shareholders of "X Holding Corp", who helped the billionaire buy Twitter.
Among them are Petr Aven and Vadim Moshkovich.
Petr Aven is a Russian billionaire, founder of Alfa Group, one of the main wallets for Putin. Aven is one of Putin's oldest friends. Putin would be in prison instead of becoming president without him. Aven covered for Vladimir Putin in 1992, when he organized an illegal trade in export licenses; he was also present at a meeting with Putin on February 24, 2022, in the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. He did not express any protest against "SVO" and supported Putin. By the way, he, together with Fridman, is trying to lift sanctions from himself, just yesterday he received another refusal in this matter.
In the purchase of Twitter he is represented by the company "8VC Opportunities Fund II, LP", where his son Denis works.
Vadim Moshkovich is a sanctioned Russian agricultural billionaire who was a member of the "Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation." In other words, he was officially part of Putin's inner circle. Moshkovich owns Russia's largest agricultural holding, Rusagro. Naturally, he was also present at the meeting with Putin on February 24, 2022, and, like Aven, did not express any protest against Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
In the purchase of Twitter he is represented by the company "8VC Opportunities Fund II, LP", where his son Jack (Eugene) works.
Knowing all this, we now understand Elon Musk's bias. Everyone was wondering how it was possible that Twitter shares (X) were falling, advertisers were breaking contracts, and no one was doing anything. This was direct damage to investors. But everyone failed to take into account the fact that investors needed a platform to promote their narratives, such as: support for Putin and Russia; lobbying for freezing the war in Ukraine; removing the Ukrainian agenda from the top news etc.
It is now clear that all the changes on Twitter that are ruining this wonderful platform are a result of Elon Musk's collaboration with people like Moshkovich and Aven.

Even Space Karen has resorted to calling it Twitter
Places like that will only get the dregs and then wonder why they can't get or keep good staff.

I smell a very large Class Action lawsuit incoming.
Tesla’s rollout of Full Self-Driving v12.5 has failed so far, and owners want to know what happens next?
In 2016, Elon Musk announced that all future Tesla vehicles would come equipped with the necessary hardware for self-driving capabilities, even specifying “level 5 self-driving,” which implies the ability to operate autonomously under any conditions. However, shortly after, Musk acknowledged that Tesla might require more onboard computing power than initially thought, leading to the introduction of Hardware 3 (HW3).
Musk assured that HW3 would enable full self-driving (FSD) capabilities, promising retrofits for earlier models that had purchased the FSD package. Following this, Tesla introduced Hardware 4 (HW4), a more advanced onboard computer system, but did not offer retrofits for older models with HW3, maintaining that HW3 was sufficient for achieving self-driving through software updates.
Initially, Musk claimed that FSD improvements would first be optimized for HW3, suggesting that HW4 might lag behind by at least six months. However, Tesla reversed this approach with the release of FSD version 12.5, which was first deployed to HW4 vehicles. Musk explained that optimizing the software for the less powerful HW3 would take additional time, hinting at the limitations of HW3 in handling the latest software advancements towards unsupervised self-driving, a capability Tesla promised to HW3 owners since 2016.
This rewrite aims to streamline the narrative, focusing on the evolution of Tesla’s self-driving hardware and software, and the strategic shifts in deployment and optimization of FSD capabilities between HW3 and HW4.
Musk said that it would take ten days to adapt v12.5 to HW3.
In late August, about two weeks after Musk’s “10 days” had passed, we reported that Tesla started to push v12.5 to HW3 vehicles.
Not only was the update to HW3 late, but Tesla also confirmed that it was running a smaller model than on HW4.
On top of all that, now three weeks later, Tesla has yet to push v12.5 to the vast majority of FSD vehicles with HW3. Tesla appears to only have pushed v12.5.1.5 to some Tesla HW3 owners and it is now moving HW4 cars to v12.5.2.
Social media and Tesla forums are full of Tesla HW3 owners asking why they haven’t released a new update since v12.3.6 earlier this year despite Musk’s comments.
I have a feeling that Tesla is going to experience one of the biggest ever corporate crash and burns in the medium term. Everyone else has either caught up with or passed them out.

Part of GM in eighteen months.
The idea that Tesla is worth more than all the other motor industry companies combines is so far past batshit insane that it beggers belief !
Someone threw out the statistic somewhere that if SK got his $45+ Billion bonus, it would mean he was getting $10Ks for each & every car the company had sold; & this was a company that had only been profitable for a few quarters of it's entire existance, & then because it cashed in on CO2 refunds it sold to other companies, or just used taxpayers money to prop up that qtrs numbers.
Tesla is just another corporate welfare whore, & a complete fraud, & it would have unravelled a long time ago, if it hadn't become the darling of so many analyists, & fund managers, & unwinding this fraud wasn't going to fuck every fund, & pension scheme in the US of A !

Also that the stock market is just a load of made up numbers that became untethered from reality some time ago.
Tesla being the most obvious example but you could pick any blue chip and it's the same story.

This is my fav tweet regarding him from an ex twitter developer:
He talked about electric cars. I don't know anything about cars, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.
Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.
Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

He's never shown any respect for the Law.
Just in the last week or two, he's flouted the law in Brazil over his refusal to block X on Starlinks DNS servers.
In the US the FAA are talking about fining him for launching rockets without getting the necessary permissions, & these launches were happening from the launch facility that has grossly exceeded the permitted work, & facilities on he land, & that has led to clashes with the wildlife protection services.
Also in the US his new data center is causing air pollution from its gas generators, which need I say have no permits !
He's a complete cunt who should be strapped on the front of one of his rockets & fired into the sun ...... if it doesn't explode on he launch pad !!!!!
The maker of the adult party game Cards Against Humanity is suing Elon Musk’s spacecraft manufacturer SpaceX for allegedly trespassing on and damaging company-owned property in Texas.
Cards Against Humanity filed the lawsuit on Thursday, and is asking for $15 million.
The land in question is a vacant plot near Brownsville, Texas.
It is far from Cards Against Humanity’s headquarters in Chicago, but it is close to SpaceX’s headquarters, known as Starbase.
According to the lawsuit, SpaceX has been using the land without permission for about six months as a staging area for construction: clearing vegetation, parking vehicles, storing gravel and running generators.
Cards Against Humanity bought the land in 2017 as a part of a ploy to prevent the then President Donald Trump from building a wall along the US-Mexico border to keep migrants out.
Cards Against Humanity also said it would accept Twitter.com as compensation, referring to the social media app Musk bought in 2022 and renamed X.

Almost a third of 171 posts last week from the X owner were false, misleading or missing vital context.
More than half of Musk’s posts last week focused on politics, with particular attention to immigration, voter fraud and free speech.

They just need to grow some balls and shut the fucker down
They probably don't even need too. Twitter will go bankrupt in the next 12 months and he'll probably be removed from the boards of SpaceX and Tesla in the same timeframe.

From your lips to the SECs ears !
First & foremost the incoming Administration needs to excise him from the strategic interests of the USA; so Starlink & SpaceX need to be either excluded from all contracts, or Space Karen removed from any control or influence; no debate, no discussion, just take it or leave it !
Tesla's unwinding will start with the non-event if it even happens for the forth coming "RoboTaxi" bollox, but will be slow, because that fucking bubble is a significant portion of the S&P, & no one wants to admit that it's a bigger con than Enron, or Theranos, or FTX, & there's a lot of assholes that swallowed all of those grifts too !

Jesus, but listening to a Tesla Earning call is like dropping into a cult to borrow a cup of sugar, & getting a hundred tabs of acid instead
Now you or I might react to this by calling Space Karen a cnut & vowing to never ever buy another Tesla, because at least if you have a bonfire with $100k, you might warm yourself for awhile; but no, in the cult you double down, because otherwise you might have to admit you've been screwed, & you were a moron to buy into the bullshit he's peddling !
Keep in mind, for about the last 8 years SK has been telling the masses that if you bought a Tesla, you'd be buying an asset that rose in value, because, FSD, Robocab ...
I noticed a band I follow said they're quitting it for Bluesky. My twitter account only exists as it's currently the best way to follow the bands whose releases and tour info I want to track, if enough of them jump ship to another social media platform, I'll follow them there.

Elon Musk’s AI turns on him, labels him ‘one of the most significant spreaders of misinformation on X’
Elon Musk might be in charge of the business of Grok, but the artificial intelligence has seemingly gone into business for itself, labeling Musk as one of the worst offenders when it comes to spreading misinformation online.
User Gary Koepnick asked the AI which person spreads the most information on Twitter/X—and the service did not hesitate in pointing a finger at its creator.
“Based on various analyses, social media sentiment, and reports, Elon Musk has been identified as one of the most significant spreaders of misinformation on X since he acquired the platform,” it wrote, later adding “Musk has made numerous posts that have been criticized for promoting or endorsing misinformation, especially related to political events, elections, health issues like COVID-19, and conspiracy theories. His endorsements or interactions with content from controversial figures or accounts with a history of spreading misinformation have also contributed to this perception.”
The AI also pointed out that because of Musk’s large number of followers and high visibility, any misinformation he posts is immediately amplified and gains legitimacy among his followers.
This, it said, “can have real-world consequences, especially during significant events like elections.”
Grok did note that the definition of misinformation is somewhat subjective and often depends on the ideological stance of the reader. And it added, late in its answer, that there are many actors, bots and more that spread misinformation.
The smackdown from his own AI system, ironically, came soon after Musk touted the system to his followers in a tweet reading “Use Grok for answers that are based on up-to-date info!”
Grok itself, it’s worth noting, was accused of spreading misinformation about state ballots in August, prompting the company to make changes to its algorithm.

The worth of these things very much depends on how you use them.
Sticking to the Following tab, all I see is stuff from the bands and handful of nature/conservation charities I follow. If you click on For You (which is Discovery on Bluesky I think), you'll see all the other shit.
