It’s been absolutely pouring with rain in South East.

This game is probably not going to be one of high tempo, accuracy and slick moves.

An old traditional mud wrestle fest might be a more likely.

Don’t think this will be one for the neutral.

Don’t want to put the mockers on him and wish he was a little bit faster but steady Freddy Steward under the high ball. If we met SA in world cup it almost negates their high kicking game.

Comedy of errors by England leading up to that, Billy V stripped, Smith falls flat on his arse, penalties all over the shop.

The tempo of the music playing as the pack go about their pre-scrum ritual is both fucking annoying and totally at odds with the tempo of the match, which needs the Funeral March.

OK, a good tackle by Tuilagi, but the guy was blindsided and not set at all.

Super Ben Youngs pass.

England’s discipline utterly criminal as ever, under no pressure we’re leaking chances to an excellent kicker

Listening to these commentators it’s unfathomable how England are not the best team in the world by a long long way and winning this match by over 100

Discipline horrendous and has kept Argentina in a game they have no real right to be in.
Attack much improved. I like the use of Billy/Genge/Sinks, their ball skills are looking good and the interchange of Smoth and Faz does seem to be keeping Argentina off balance. The problem remains that in the time it takes Youngs to distribute they’ve reformed again. There’s a fair chance we’ll run in a couple when JvP comes on.

Scrum very impressive, maul not quite as potent in Oz.

This feels a little like Wales and Scotland in the 6N, we’ve had plenty of time on top without cutting them loose which leaves us vulnerable to a turnaround, particularly when you price in at least three more kickable pens under no pressure

The cheerleading from the comms box is unbearable. I would turn them off and just listen to the crowd atmosphere but it's quieter than Murrayfield was yesterday.

This is a recurring theme from yesterday as well, in fairness. Barclay (I think it was him?) went on and on at the ref for any decision going against Scotland, Warbs and Shanklin were horrific as discussed and Bowe was hectoring Habana about the ref through half time. Send them all to different games

Nice to nick the three at the end there and the set piece is going well, but EJ is clearly holding a lot back for the RWC as far as our attack goes.

Most noticeably a competent 9. Youngs was rubbish yet again in that 40. Extremely lucky to win that first pen we slotted, as he'd absolutely lifted the ball to trigger the Argie defence to come up.

Fair enough. To be honest didn’t massively notice it yesterday except the Ireland game - bit we get used to that from the URC.

There was one point where they were going on about how awful it much be for the Argies having to tackle some of the big England players- the same argies that have just spent the last 6 weeks playing SA, NZ and OZ

Overall, this was a 3/10 performance and an arse reaming awaits next week unless there are selection changes and some players get their acts together. Light years from where Ireland are at the moment.
Torq

Some harsh comments but largely accurate. You have to wonder how they managed to steal the win.
France are absolutely the worst team in the world to start as favourites because they all too easily start believing their own hype. A loss would have been a needed wake up call.
