Mashable can report that, as of the publication of this article on Thursday evening, Carlson's Trump interview has received 14.8 million video views on X.

On X, it's not entirely clear to most users what the views metric refers to — many people believe, falsely, that the video of Carlson's Trump interview received 220 million views more than it actually received.

....

There's a thread on the mugshot elsewhere. I said it had a Blue Steel vibe to it. Another poster said it's more Orange Steal.

Orangeman says No Surrender. Depressingly unoriginal.

And 6'3" and 215 pounds? That's Mohammed Ali when he fought Frazier.

215 pounds is 15 and a bit stone in terms I understand, or 97.5 kg for the metric folks.

I am 6' nothing tall and have definitely put on half a stone in the last year, so would put my middle aged spread at 16 stone/101kg/224lbs. Like fuck is my physique worse than Trump's flabby arse.

Trump is easily over 20 stone - 280lbs or 127kg. In rugby terms that's about a Zander Fagerson but with Trumps weight distributed differently! Feels about right to me?

'tis a very Trumpian thing to consider he's some new variant and his condition needs its own name, rather than he's just a run of the mill narcissistic sociopath

I’m sure our resident poet could put together a lilting stanza or two starting with ‘tis a Trumpian thing.

Donald Trump's recent arrest in Atlanta has led to an interesting revelation about the former President: He's built like a world-class athlete.

The 77-year-old Trump self-reported his height and weight at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds prior to his booking at Fulton County jail on Thursday. That's a dramatic improvement from the 6-foot-2, 240 pounds he claimed in April, when he was indicted in New York on allegations of falsifying business records.

By growing an inch and losing 25 pounds, Trump practically shares the same dimensions with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, current heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and none other than Muhammad Ali.

At the weigh in for the Rumble in the Jungle, Mohammed Ali was 216lbs at 6ft 3 inch 😄

There's something very satisfying about the traitor getting convicted, because he is a tight arse cunt !

In Georgia, he is part of a large conspiracy, that he was ultimately behind, but now he isn't standing by the various gobshites who committed crimes on his behalf, so now, instead of spending ~$20-40 million of the grift he's gathered to allow his co-defendants to get decent lawyers, he prefers to keep the money, & let them flip, & take pleas.

It just goes to show what a pig ignorant scrote he is.

Does he think he can take the money with him ?

Bizarrely, it seems he would prefer to be in prison, than be free & just a millionaire  :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

the billionaire hasn't even paid the bail for himself, or the other defendants, instead using a bail bondsman.

so he's either so rich he doesn't care about paying up the fee for someone else to fill out the form, or he's got some problems getting his hands on the money, either a real problem or he's short cash as of today

Nah, afraid not. In a lot of places, you have to use a bondsman, the county doesn't want to wonder where the money came from for bail.

Do they wonder where the money to pay the bond comes from?

Seems harsh too, even if you have the means you have to pay a not insignificant fee. All part of their insane for profit justice system perhaps

That's the bailbonds mans problem !, but he too will want to know, as he could have to forfeit it, if it turns out to be the proceeds of crime. If the bail is small enough, you can often skip the bondsman, but when you're talking about 100, or 200k, there's no way to get out of going thru a bondsman.

So even if you have the means, you have to pay 10% (or perhaps less on a larger amount) and that's simply gone even if you're not proved guilty?

Can you use property is cash is a concern?

How is this not perceived as a legal con job?

Well first you have to be charged for something, & then be arraigned, & then in a lot of minor cases you might just be released on your own recognizance. As the seriousness of the charges ramps up, or if you've a track record of running, or the court decides that you need an incentive to show up for your court date, then they're going to demand bail. If you're getting hit with a $100k bail, stumping up $10k is the least of your problems !, because you're relying on an overworked Public Defender, & that's why the US has such a huge percentage of it's population in Prison.

Still the point would stand the system is forcing you to give up 10% (for the sake of argument) of the bail money to support the system if you could but are not allowed to post your own bail. Which is to say the justice system proceeds in an unjust manner in this

So Trump has won another gold championship, apparently the 50th plus club championship he has claimed at courses he owns.

It is a tragedy for the sport that he was never able to play Kim Jong-Il.

Roomer are strong in political circles that Ron DeSanctimonious, whose Presidential run is a shambles, and whose poll numbers have absolutely crashed, putting him 3rd and 4th in some states, will be dropping out of the Presidential race in order to run, in Florida, against Rick Scott for Senate. Now that’s an interesting one, isn’t it?
