It was a walk in for Adams, schoolboy error from Williams who was rank awful today. TBF he has been pretty awful whole Tour and by playing him the Lions gained nothing over Hogg but lost an attacking and kicking threat instead. Should never have been selected.

He actually played quite well apart from the two mistakes which err probably lost the game.

He caught his high balls and brought a good intensity.

He didn't catch his high balls though - he had one in 1st half and fielded a kick in 2nd when calling for a mark. Not sure what the 'good intensity' is that he brought to the game - that's usually a phrase used when you can't find anything else to point out he did well!

He was all over the pitch. His intensity in the kick chase won the penalty that Curry butchered for example.

It was tongue in cheek his mistakes directly and obviously lost the series for the Lions. But if you ignore those mistakes he did actually play quite well.

What a thriller. A draw would probably have been appropriate at the end. But happy to take the win. Could have gone either way today. Thumb up to Raynal, was really good and handled the game well. Except for all the off field bullshit, I have to say I enjoyed the 3 tests. Proud of the boks, against many odd we managed to turn the series around an win it.

The truth is that Hogg had to be dropped after last week. Williams was OK apart from the pass but that was a bloody awful mistake- a bit much to blame the result on that though, we should have been out of sight by half time.

As I said earlier, the irony is that Hogg, particularly with Price and Finn firing, would probably have been brilliant in that match.

The annoying one for me is Curry. He has been absolutely average pre tests and both the first 2 tests. I genuinely think Mish would have made a difference today as that SA back row wasn’t up to much either

He is used to playing with the Sale /SA B pack or with an England front 5 that is usually on the front foot. Like Ben Youngs when he finds himself on the back foot ge is hopeless. I think the Lions team have been great to play. Honest but limited. The coaches are both assholes. Boks didn't cover themselves in glory and a drawn series would have been a fair result. However, it feels good to be the World Champions, current no.1 ranked Test team and to have beaten the BIL again. How is your team doing? And how many Saffers play for the club you support?

That penalty he kicked for touch right after he came on. It was from about the half way line or even inside the Lions half and he thumped it 1m in front of the bok goalline into touch, as if he never does it any differently
