+ Auk 1st up tackling has been abysmal which has been followed by a whole series of dog legged defences.

They will surely go into the final as overwhelming favourites, regardless of who the oppo is.

Wasn't all that surprised with win, but that was emphatic. Really enjoyed watching that.

Canterbury as usual making a slow start and the referee seems to be somewhat harsh on our boys

Steamers really needed to score there.

Seems to be open season on Canterbury halfbacks. Drummond last week, and this week O'Keefe appears to think it's perfectly alright to repeatedly take Heinz out without the ball. While at the same time finding all sorts of highly technical offenses by both sides...

We just had a view of a BoP lineout from across the ground and the throw wasn't straight.

O'Keefe was happy with that, but he's pinged Canty twice for not throwing straight.

Yeah, I think that was it
I presumed he let it go because Cant won the ball anyway?

Had to run that back then rather than kicking for touch or kick deep.

Well, he called that one not straight. And Steamers blow (ahem) their last, slim chance.

Gonna be an interesting final. Welly will offer more attacking threat than Steamers but nowhere near the same physicality in defence. Weather will be a factor methinks: if it's wet/windy, adv Cant.

Lovely touch to let Luke Romano wear the #4 jersey despite being on the bench. So Gallagher the starting lock is wearing #19.

It’s a speedy game.

Good to see smothering defence at this level. Bodes well for step up to intl

Great defense but in the end the little tank Aumua grabs the try
