Fun game so far.
Got to love Irish commentators though, a camera shot, from behind, from the other end of the pitch - “no, no knock on there”
Edit: and then “the crowd suggesting the tackler didn’t release before getting on that ball” - replay shows Koch coming in from about 5 metres away and having nothing to do with the tackle

I would have liked a closer look at that last try. I thought the scorer was well ahead of the kicker. I saw no replay to confirm

Wondered the same.
Anyway, best half by an SA team this round.

Whilst I hesitate to say I like Kok on a forum such as this, the Sharks winger impressed me when Edinburgh played them last season.
He plays a physical game and seems like a good guy too, at least from his interactions with the Embra players in that game.

We have lots of Kochs in Scotland, but there is a phlegmy sound to it, rhymes with loch.

Bit of a tombola for the Irish commentators when trying to pick out Sharks players of colour

I really like having the South African teams in the URC, it means we will have to up our game, all of us, but that is no bad thing, imo.

You guys have to understand that no one does this to Leinster in Dublin in the league at this time of year, this is where they build up an unassailable lead at the top of the table.
The fact this game isn't over by 40 points at this stage is some going.

Really is just no point kicking the ball if we aren't going to even try tackle at the wings

Leinster are really good at using kicks to break the advantage line and scoring tries.

Very entertaining game, & that always takes two sides
It looks like the Saffa sides are starting the competition in much better condition than the NH sides

Embra's run of games has been disappointing results-wise but they have been against quality opposition.
