Thomas Young confirmed to be leaving Wasps and heading to Cardiff at the end of the season.

He's been a great player for us, consistently one of our best performers. Finding a replacement who contributes his link play is going to be difficult.

That must be to try and get more Welsh caps.

No idea what's going on in Welsh rugby at the moment other than it's not going in the right direction. Even when the regions have all their too players in the team, they're still losing.

Yep, he's probably hoping to make a late push for the 2023 World Cup.

Oghre banned for three matches. Assuming Cruse likely fails the return to play protocols, where does that leave Wasps hooker-wise?

Stuffed.

Though our academy hooker has apparently been traveling reserve for a couple of weeks now. And we have an Academy prop who's played there before too.

Plenty hoping we bring Ashley Johnson back on a short term loan

Can't say I'm surprised. Thought it was a red and would be cited when the yellow came out.

Assuming Cruse isn't ok, our only fit hooker in the squad now afaik is our new guy Dan Frost.

Certainly doesn't seem to be any love lost. I get the sense Sanderson hates Quins because they've managed to be successful playing a style of rugby he finds anathemic on top of the Quins/Sarries general antipathy.

They’re certainly getting stuck in with plenty of off the ball stuff.

I’m not really one for bagging officials but how? How did they miss that??

Sale ought to be concerned that the first time Quins get into their 22 it results in a try after the amount of effort they had to expend to score a (fortuitously awarded) try.

Some players still struggling with high tackle laws.

Unlike Austin I'm quite happy for Ross to be going to the bin for that. Tackle lower.

Also, how many cards is it for Ross now this season? Don't you pick up an automatic 1 week ban for 3 yellows?

Maybe he doesn't like Quins because he thinks they are hypocrites? Maybe he is ambivalent about them and you're just imagining it?

From another angle I think Mcguigans would have looked like sonny bills red on watson?

Worth yellow simply for being dim and apparently ignoring all that has gone on in the last 2 years.

Green did so well there but it would have been an easier score if he’d passed

Watson was more upright up when SBW managed to mash him in the chops, but McGuigan certainly could've had his actions scrutinised further if Ross hadn't been the focus.

I thought the actions of Ross caused McGuigan to collide with the ball carrier in that way

Curry’s rep helps him a lot, he was pretty slow in going for that ball but he got the decision

1 yellow every 3 games is the mark of a very stupid player. Too easy that one for Sale.

Who was it from quins that looked like they were running away from the tackle and throwing a desperate "pass" my u10s would have been proud of?

Sale nowhere near the handling skills to outdo Quins at their own game.

Not impressed by application of breakdown laws. Players routinely clearing out coming in from the side or sealing off.

Policing of the offside line was a disgrace in the set that led to the Sale pen to clear their lines. Breakdowns become a lot messier in circumstances like that.

No coincidence that Sale have gotten on top as a result, they love it messy and scrappy.
