He's been a great player for us, consistently one of our best performers. Finding a replacement who contributes his link play is going to be difficult.

Yep, he's probably hoping to make a late push for the 2023 World Cup.Kawazaki wrote: Wed Oct 13, 2021 11:40 amsockwithaticket wrote: Wed Oct 13, 2021 11:06 am Thomas Young confirmed to be leaving Wasps and heading to Cardiff at the end of the season.![]()

That must be to try and get more Welsh caps.
No idea what's going on in Welsh rugby at the moment other than it's not going in the right direction. Even when the regions have all their too players in the team, they're still losing.

Can't say I'm surprised. Thought it was a red and would be cited when the yellow came out.Oxbow wrote: Wed Oct 13, 2021 12:07 pm Oghre banned for three matches. Assuming Cruse likely fails the return to play protocols, where does that leave Wasps hooker-wise?
Certainly doesn't seem to be any love lost. I get the sense Sanderson hates Quins because they've managed to be successful playing a style of rugby he finds anathemic on top of the Quins/Sarries general antipathy.
They’re certainly getting stuck in with plenty of off the ball stuff.sockwithaticket wrote: Fri Oct 15, 2021 6:58 pmCertainly doesn't seem to be any love lost. From another angle I think Mcguigans would have looked like sonny bills red on watson?sockwithaticket wrote: Fri Oct 15, 2021 7:23 pm Unlike Austin I'm quite happy for Ross to be going to the bin for that. Tackle lower.
Also, how many cards is it for Ross now this season? Don't you pick up an automatic 1 week ban for 3 yellows?
Worth yellow simply for being dim and apparently ignoring all that has gone on in the last 2 years.sockwithaticket wrote: Fri Oct 15, 2021 7:23 pm Unlike Austin I'm quite happy for Ross to be going to the bin for that. Tackle lower.

Watson was more upright up when SBW managed to mash him in the chops, but McGuigan certainly could've had his actions scrutinised further if Ross hadn't been the focus.Dragster wrote: Fri Oct 15, 2021 7:25 pmFrom another angle I think Mcguigans would have looked like sonny bills red on watson?sockwithaticket wrote: Fri Oct 15, 2021 7:23 pm Unlike Austin I'm quite happy for Ross to be going to the bin for that. It has gradually impacted what was a very good game.sockwithaticket wrote: Fri Oct 15, 2021 8:32 pm Policing of the offside line was a disgrace in the set that led to the Sale pen to clear their lines. Breakdowns become a lot messier in circumstances like that.
No coincidence that Sale have gotten on top as a result, they love it messy and scrappy.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Fri Oct 15, 2021 8:34 pmIt has gradually impacted what was a very good game.sockwithaticket wrote: Fri Oct 15, 2021 8:32 pm Policing of the offside line was a disgrace in the set that led to the Sale pen to clear their lines.
