Penxe has been very quiet this tournament , although he is a fantastic finisher and good in the air.....he needs to push on saturday because Mapimpi will walk in the following week.

Sadly I think its Everitt rather than Curwin. He seems stuck on Jake's 2007 strategy. There are glimmers of hope in some set piece moves but he hasn't got the best out of this team. Everitt went for mobile loose forwards instead of big bruisers like Jake. This may come back and bite him in the ass. I certainly miss the JL and Dan's. Jake showed that by making it a forwards battle and winning that contest the backline is taken out of the game.

I disagree. Look at his form in 2020; a string of man of the match performances that led us to the top of the table. You might not like him as a player, but he's proven he's got the goods.

This year is a different story for him. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it's a different gameplan from the Sharks, different scrumhalves, pack that isn't dominating like it did.

Willie Engelbrecht is a journeyman. He's tough but has nowhere near the skill and size of Vermeulen or Faletau. He stood out in a Pumas side and looks OK in the Stormers side. But at the age of 28 he really has not proven that he can mix it at the highest level. He hasn't even played Super Rugby let alone test rugby.

We have Jasper Wiese, Du Plessis brothers, Hanro Liebenberg and many others who are excelling in extremely tough leagues. These guys have the pedigree and track records to back up their Bok claims. These guys are muuuch better that Willie.

Its not enough to be an yster playing for the Pumas. We've selected a good few forgotten boks on this basis who got shown up at Test level. Dewald Potgieter and Jacques Potgieter spring to mind.

We absolutely cannot afford to take chances against the Lions when guys like the Du Plessis brother are fit and in form.
