It is great to see Bosch getting back to his best form, last seen when the $harks won* Super Rugby 2020.
His kicking from hand is excellent, he really pins the opposition back into their 22. Pity we don't quite have the muscle up front to convert those lineouts into points at the moment, but hopefully that will change when Eben is back.

His big test is against Kade in two weeks time.
He's wearing 2 chest guards in case he has to tackle.
Kade, the forgotten man?
Those are boobs...........thats what yours used to look like before you started carrying them over your shoulder
Considering the Sharks have such a limited window to play theirTheNatalShark wrote: Sat Feb 18, 2023 2:13 pmLove it_Os_ wrote: Sat Feb 18, 2023 2:05 pm Sharks will go up a level when the Lion of Westville comes on. He should actually be captain when there's no Boks, more of a natural leader than anyone out there at the moment, cannot assert yourself and lead without any real heart or confidence. The Sharks players are too quiet, don't need huddles and hushed chats if someone is bossing it and barking orders.
Fantastic from Bosch. Everyone starting to play just a bit smarter
, it's safe to say that the side we see winning great one week and blowing out the next week, are our team for the future. There is a lot of talent there. They just need the focus to deliver consistent results. I am not giving up on them. I love it that our players are in such demand and making teams like the Lions and Stormers, look good.Test side

Ulster match the same time as the Ireland vs Italy test.

If Glasgow want to cement that top-4 spot (or even top-2 if the Stormers make heavy weather of their run-in), they really need to win against the weakest of the SA teams. Sharks beating Ulster would be the perfect combination.OomStruisbaai wrote: Wed Feb 22, 2023 4:14 pm The replay Gippo Guts fixtures this weekend.

Win this one, and with a run-in with 3 weaker opponents, the away game to Munster all of a sudden might not be that important anymore (at least for a top-4 finish).

The Lions are under the pump. Coach and players problems, so you can expect anything from them. It's do or die for them.clydecloggie wrote: Wed Feb 22, 2023 9:12 pmIf Glasgow want to cement that top-4 spot (or even top-2 if the Stormers make heavy weather of their run-in), they really need to win against the weakest of the SA teams. Probably our best possible team, given the resting Boks and injuries. The bench doesn't fill me with hope, so hopefully the starting XV can get the job done.OomStruisbaai wrote: Fri Feb 24, 2023 7:45 am Sharks – 15 Boeta Chamberlain, 14 Werner Kok, 13 Francois Venter, 12 Rohan Janse van Rensburg, 11 Thaakir Abrahams, 10 Curwin Bosch, 9 Grant Williams, 8 Phepsi Buthelezi (c), 7 Vincent Tshituka, 6 Dylan Richardson, 5 Gerbrandt Grobler, 4 Reniel Hugo, 3 Carlu Sadie, 2 Dan Jooste, 1 Ox Nche.

Good team? It's almost Welsh in how few different surnames are allowed for Saffer rugby players, makes it impossible to form an opinion on them as you just can't tell them apart.OomStruisbaai wrote: Fri Feb 24, 2023 12:01 pm Lions team: 15 Quan Horn 14 Rabz Maxwane 13 Manuel Rass 12 Marius Louw (captain) 11 Edwill van der Merwe 10 Gianni Lombard 9 Sanele Nohamba 8 Francke Horn 7 Emmanuel Tshituka 6 Jaco Kriel 5 Ruben Schoeman 4 Ruan Venter 3 Asenathi Ntlabakanye 2 PJ Botha 1 JP Smith.

Glasgow have a strong team out under the circumstances, with even some strength on the bench. 'Mon the Weeg!!

Lions don't have any depth. Same old same.Even the Sharks beat them.
You don't have to be shitty towards the Lions. They will not let you down by winning.clydecloggie wrote: Fri Feb 24, 2023 8:06 amYes, for this weekend: Go Sharks! Absolutely fantastic from Williams, much much more clinical and quicker with ball versus last week, even if just the first few minutes.

Good to see Chamberlain back on, needs a bit more sympathetic pass in the conditions, but to be fair players aren't keeping hands ready

Sharks need to reign in discipline, Grant reverted to being too slow on distributions. Think Ulster are there for the taking, they are panicking with ball in hand in own half.
