Somewhat confusingly for a driver with his rep(the ultimate paid driver) Stroll has a history of being good in the wet.handyman wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 8:26 pmGood call.fishfoodie wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 8:14 pmhandyman wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 8:05 pm
You're saying Stroll is the best driver in F1? Might be alone on that one boet...![]()

I think a bookie would give you decent odds that Stroll doesn't make it around the first lap tomorrow.

Stroll is good enough to be in F1 regardless of how wealthy his father is. That pole, in those conditions, will have massive currency in the pitlane.

Just switched it on and Russell smashed his front wing heading to the grid. Giovanazzi done the same?
Under normal conditions he's one of the worst drivers on the grid. It's just than in the wet he seems to be much betterKawazaki wrote: Sun Nov 15, 2020 8:26 am

Stroll miles ahead of Verstappen on the formation lap. There are going to be some cold tyres at the front here...

Verstappen looks like he was driving a van off the front line. Terrible start.

Bottas thrown it all away. Hamilton has no grip at all.

His record is fine - two podiums already and now a pole position. That better than 80% of F1 drivers achieve in their entire careers already. I imagine you'd rate a driver like Hulkenberg higher.
The trouble tge Mercedes has had all weekend was that it wasn't getting heat and wear into the tyres. So you've got to think it's not wearing the tyres down as much.

Hamilton will take the win. A change in the usual results would have been nice.
