I hate Blommetjies. His hair makes me want to never watch a game with the Stormers again. But he has some good skills.

I also think the Sharks should have more players like Wright 👍

Stomps aren't as good as they think, that's what we discovered today.

It feels like I'm watching the Sharks play Currie Cup B Section rugby like they did in the 80s. Craig Jamieson and Henry Coxwell would have found a way to win this game.

Clever foul by Wright at the end, secured the bonus point when Stomps went for posts in front. Level 200 IQ play.

FFS I thought Stormers were going to going to cock up the result

Bad enough they gifted the LBP to Sharks, that'll keep them ahead of Connacht even if we get a TBP later

Well done Stormers! Kudos for getting 30k supporters in. Shows you what winning games does for a franchise. A couple of years ago they were a bankrupt laughing stock.

Also not as good as we can be.

Glad we are still cranking out W’s even while playing poorly and waiting on Ginger, Frans, our locks, Hiyamani and Zas to get back from rest and injury.

We’re not Leinster, not even close, but we are definitely within the top 4 this season. Will get a home semi in the URC and wouldn’t be surprised if get to, but then lose in a HCC semi-final.

Would have preferred a kick now to be honest.

Bring back Monty Dumond. Bring back Charl McLeod. Anyone

Cheers Boet. You are a top clas supporter.

The Stormers will have to really play better. Leinster will be as tough as it gets and we are far from their class and quality.

If the Sharks kick less they will be much improve

4D chess us mere mortals can hardly conceive of.

I n00b like me would’ve just made a good pass and had a go for a try against a team playing with 13 players on the park. But that’s why I’m not a pro. My thinking is much too conventional.

With the Boks back you'll be in contention. Leinster look in a different class though. Stomps always my second SA team though.

Sharks have a real kak pack without their Boks. The tight five today was rubbish.

I'm never not supporting Wright. Like Waylon Murray before him, a son of Westville in the Sharks jersey. All time Sharks greats in my book.

I reject all the criticim of Wright and blame he recieves on here, and instead say he should be made captain.

Look like the kak clubs still don't give up. WP Rugby need to sell Newlands and move forward.

Oh I know. And I look forward to Wright testing this unconditional loyalty of yours for many years to come.

It’s a win-win for the rest of us; watching you squirm AND having Wright basically cut the Sharks off at the knees.

It's really sad that there are so many parts of the world are being held to ransom by people with nothing better to do and no ambition than to cry over a piss stained stadium. Just holds up everything, the union, the community for no legitimate reason whatsoever.

Ail was great, ditto Fourie and Fouche. Rest of pack are 2nd division.

Hopefully the Sharks can sign 2021 Westville headboy Bryce Calvert. He's a Bismarck type hooker. Been in the SA High Performance squad since u16. Larry Nkonki from the same Westville 1st team is at Blue Bulls u21 a really promising centre.

I've never squirmed.

SandStomp gave the best description of Wright excellent pass and boot, but the odd crazy error. He just needs to cut the errors. Then I have the last laugh.

Williams is ahead of him at the Sharks at the moment. But SA doesn't have the stacks of world class 9s like the recent past, there was Du Preez and Pienaar but others below them above anything we have now (Charl McLeod would be in the Bok squad permanently if he was in his prime now). so the cupboard is bare and someone that just does the basics well without error has the potential to go far in the 9 jersey at the moment. The problem for you is, Wright does actually pass and kick better than most of what we've got.

I’ll take your word for it, but I’ve only ever seen Wright pass and kick like shit. That, combined with poor disciple and poor decision making doesn’t really have him very high on my list of Bok prospects.

But he’s young, so maybe he’ll improve…or maybe he’ll become the next “Curwin Bosch”. Who knows 🤷‍♂️

I've heard about Calvert. We need more local players that care about the team in the extended squad. Watching these matches without our big names, it's disappointing how little heart there is sometimes, especially in the tight five.

I have a whole cluster of nephews at Kearsney and Westville who are good rugby players. Been following them up through the age groups.

Bosch is in his best season so far, he used to be soft, not anymore.

Wright makes unforced errors usually from trying to do something ambitious when there's a more straight forward option. He's not a flake or pea heart, he has the right attitude. Don't remember him flaking when the Sharks won a close CC final against you lot at Newlands in 2018, the opposite.

Around 1995/96 Westville had a brilliant cricket and rugby 1st team. Shaun Payne, Shaun Platford, Dieter Kriese and Roland de Marigny. Errol Stewart was in Std 9. My younger brother was in the first team Maritzburg College team that year and they beat us for the first time in years.

Covid lockdowns stole two years of our lives, and what other pressure matches did the Sharks play? 2019 Super rugby play off but my memory is the Sharks were never in it against the Brumbies away from home. Any others?

URC quarter against the Bulls last year, close loss, Sharks should've won. I've blanked that one couldn't tell you what happened in it, must have been hard to take.

See, this trolling is much better because of its subtlety.

Someone new to the forum might even just think you were being serious in thinking Wright's play doesn't fall apart nearly every second phase.
