It was clumsy, nothing malicious and not a huge amount of force. I can see why it wasn’t a red.
But he must have been aware of where the guys head was and kneed him straight in the face. Not sure about that. He's mega-talented, but we've seen in these games he's not quite the same player away from a Quins outfit where he's familiar with the personnel and 100% the boss of what they do.
