Do you want to get our line out steals?
You are missing one at 64 minutes...this is straight after Koch replaced Malherbe.
Our lineout was outstanding.

Bongi, Etsebeth and Trevor was probably also off and the scrum went down and he just gave a penalty. That was only one single scrum, rest of the game we dominate up front.
Can they fix this in a week?

Why is everyone overly critical of Faf and Pollard kicking so much but not of the coaching team who instructs them to do so?
If they don't execute the game plan they will be pulled off the field and chances are not be selected for next week therefore missing out on the matchfee.

If the Cheetahs had to chop and change coaches everytime they lose , they may aswell get a new one nearly every game.
The next coach will have to be a black or coloured one. Do you want AC or Snor again?

Surely Stick will be the next in line....he has been the spokesman lately and done an outstanding job of getting our backline firing....

Watch those last 6 minutes again....decision making was shocking....the 2 did not even look outside them. Just went automatically to the boot
Besides, trying to get out of the team is harder for the boks than any other side in world rugby so they are safe . .
Is the team being named today

I don't have a problem with kicking. I have a problem with when and how they kick.
Stick seems to be the heir apparent. SARU's been nursing him for some time now.

So you have a problem with their kicking. Here are the stats from the 3 losses in order. Kicking that much requires an accuracy and judgement that very few players possess. Faf is good at the box kick but Pollard is not up to scratch with his tactical kicking. Its a losing strategy against a team with a potent counter attack like the AB's so I also have a huge problem with 38 kicks from hand in one match.

And no I don't believe we need Nienaber out. He has a great opportunity to grow a squad for 2023 which will be a contender to defend the RWC. He should be left to develop a gameplan.

The All Blacks let us off the hook with their turnovers, if you look at all the other attacking stats it makes for very worrying reading.

Exactly...he needs to abandon the Rassie idea of A and B team players and only take players he intends on using on tour. This nonsense of a huge squad of support players that don't even get to the bench is nonsense

Offloads.......that has always been my gripe with the Rassie way. No Offloads. Just bash it up. Forwards and centres.
Only 1 for the boks

Yep, holding tumbs he'll learne from this.
If we lost against Scotland at home, maybe. We have the cattle to get back on track. Obvious the Kiwis will troll us for another year, they always do.
I struggle to take the loss in test 2 against the Wallabies but the others were ok.

The colour of the coach doesn't bother me.
Right now we need a coach who can win us the next test.

He should fvck right off.You can see that he has no experience as a proper coach.

That coach does not exist.
The only relief is that this weekend is the last of SH opposition and from their Rassie's team and tactics will work up north

Give him a chance with his selections and coaching....right now it's still Rassie's squad and players and tactics....there hasn't been a chance to show Nienaber and his team

Getting soft old man...any loss is bad for me
Yep, thats why you lost Plumtree.
I met Plumtree at Newlands after he left the Sharks. He was asked to just come in for a " chat "....he took one look at the set up and told them to get vokked...now he is with the ABs...thats what associating with the Sharks does for you. Same with Eddie Jones

Why did the Sharks fired him?
Players didn't like him. He is an abrasive person.

Much like Jake it seems.
Maybe the easily offended $harks players can't work with a string coach?
I said that. Pollard did not even look to the outside . He immediately started making the adjustments for the kick.....I mean.....surely surely you give your team the freedom to make their own decisions on the field....what must be going through Pollards mind when he makes such poor decisions based on a gameplan...or is he the only 10 dumb enough to just go with it to get into the starting team...its like Rassie is sitting behind his laptop with a remote control, controlling the play.

I think back on a young Morne Steyn playing for Sannies, and they FS U21. He was a running / distributing 10 who could kick. . Then he went to the Bulls and he had it all coached out of him by HM et al
Same as HP and Faf under Ra$$naber

And you wonder why I want our youngsters out of there as soon as possible...
Our scrumhalves....are they going to spend their practice sessions box kicking.
Fassi....is he going to practice taking box kicks all day..
They are going to get ruined in that setup

Morne is like Braam van Straaten and Louis Koen's lovechild. He has always been an unashamedly Northern Transvaal style flyhalf. His unflappable temperament would be an essential component in my ideal model of a flyhalf. Max Boyce was a Welsh comedian who imagined a flyhalf factory in Wales. There are more than a few parts of Morne who I would add into any factory that produced flyhalfs.

#1 is durability. I can’t remember him ever getting injured.

I saw somewhere that Louis Koen's son looks to be promising. I'm sure Oom knows more about it.
