Nervous. I fear a classic by France. Slow start, lack of commitment, lack of form.
At least Hererro sees it. They've flattered to deceive with Dupont almost holding it together alone. And even he's started to make mistakes: in particular, losing the ball in contact when trying to play as a 3rd prop.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 1:04 pm Hererro makes a point about Toulouse and the Toulousain. The team is performing poorly and it is for all to see. But the concern is that the 7 Toulousain in the French team bring that poor level of performance into the 6N....
We will soon know....
Maybe England as well if Eddie is in charge.I like neeps wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:23 pm I would bet a bit of money that Italy beat Wales and Scotland within the next 3 years.
I don't think the commentary actually watch the match
You will win easily.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:37 pm 6 penalties against France.... we are the only team in the world that dominates territory like that and feel the need to infringe at every opportunity to level out the game....
As expected, fitness is not there. We are pedestrian and don't manage to get over the gain line....
We will win, but not sure it will be remembered as an easy win. Plus I doubt we'll get the bonus point. And again, we'll be the only leading team not winning by a margin higher than 30pts.C69 wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:39 pmYou will win easily.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:37 pm 6 penalties against France.... we are the only team in the world that dominates territory like that and feel the need to infringe at every opportunity to level out the game....

The best backrower is at lock, I'm not convinced by Cretin and you know my thoughts about Jelonch.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:42 pm Typical... Willemse gets the ball from the lineout and gains 20m unopposed, goes to ground, pile up and momentum lost. And we are back to going backward...
Yes. I remember they had a good 60min against the ABs.
Our scrum is surprisingly strong though, with Woki at lock.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:45 pmThe best backrower is at lock, I'm not convinced by Cretin and you know my thoughts about Jelonch.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:42 pm Typical... They converted the opportunity. So fair enough.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:46 pm French finally stung in their pride. But they are getting cocky and turn down the 3pts....
I think that's down the to the sheer power of the front row? Plus Willemse weighs as much as 2 locks!TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:46 pmOur scrum is surprisingly strong though, with Woki at lock.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:45 pmThe best backrower is at lock, I'm not convinced by Cretin and you know my thoughts about Jelonch.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:42 pm Typical... Totally disagree, Italy are being softened down.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:44 pmWe will win, but not sure it will be remembered as an easy win. Plus I doubt we'll get the bonus point. That’s probably all down to Atonio.ASMO wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:57 pm 57kg weight differential between the 2 packs, thats over a stone a man

You're right, it seems that Italy are softening. Still, not sure we will capitalize give all the mistakes/faults.C69 wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:48 pmTotally disagree, Italy are being softened down.
Easy BP win on the cards at a canter. You won't have to get out of second gear.
Your bench will destroy Italy. The last 20 mins Italy will crumble.
Told you so. Danty didn't believe. Marchand had a brain fart.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 4:08 pm I think it will be penalty against Marchand. Part of the ruck.
See what I mean. 2 penalties in quick succession when we have the upper hand.TheFrog wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 4:03 pmYou're right, it seems that Italy are softening. We keep saying this. I remember their first match ever in 6N when they beat Wales. I really want them to progress but let’s see them win a few games or be competitive in a complete tourne before we get ahead of ourselves.petej wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:25 pmMaybe England as well if Eddie is in charge.I like neeps wrote: Sun Feb 06, 2022 3:23 pm I would bet a bit of money that Italy beat Wales and Scotland within the next 3 years.
