Crash669 wrote: Sat Feb 26, 2022 6:20 pm So how many times since 2008 have England lost to Wales because our players have absolutely no idea how to control a game?

We look clueless a lot, but against the Welsh we save our special store of cluelessness for games we should be easily winning.
I know what you mean but you also can't stop teams having periods of dominance. England need to get better at converting theirs into points.

Also have to say England have ridden this last part out relatively well.
Agree that the opposition will always have their moments in the game, but England don't just concede points in those moments, the totally lose the plot. There's no ability to respond to changing situations on the field as the change, and it's been that way for years now.

I really worry that most of our players have an IQ lower than their shirt number.

3 tries to 1, moral victory, noting, boring England. Cuthbert was MOTM for me.

As usual, we stop playing when we think we've won. Should have eased Wales out of that once we went 20 points on the board.

I feel vindicated and I'm sorry I wasn't more critical of the current set up.

Wales must be the dumbest team in international rugby, how they didn’t beat that shithouse England side is shameful.

Position on the field, not preventing a clear linebreak. Hardly a controversial decision I'd have thought. Worse deliberate knock ons than that get the penalty only treatment.

The only consolation is that I will be too drunk to remember by that point in the proceedings. Although maybe by that point they'll have stopped building the game plan around Manu being available. Maybe.

Italy will score more tries against this Welsh side.

Did you watch the first half? They were comfortably worse than England, which is really saying something about how useless Wales were in that period.

Same way as I get through every Saturday late afternoon without a drink, by shouting a lot. And tidying up a lot of toys frantically while swearing.

I think Dallaglio was desperately hoping somebody would do something in the last couple of minutes to make them MOTM worthy.

Itoje? Pains me to say it but he was pretty solid and got that key turnover at the end.

Edit: tbh, and I hate saying this even more, Biggar or Faletau

Wales lost, not be caused of the ref but because England scored more.
The missed push on Beard and the different officiating of the breakdown on the second half was idiocyncratic.

The batter team lost this week. Shit happens.

I think one thing everyone can agree on is that Adamson should never be let near an intl match again. As hopeless as we had all expected.

Phew. I've enough medical problems. That last few mins was heart stopping.

Offa's Dyke remains as it was. The widening and access by crocs and alligators has been put on hold, till next year.

Next up is a serious cause for rectal dysfunction.
