There's a fun article on the BBC recalling England's best ever win against the All Blacks, almost exactly 10 years ago.

England v New Zealand: 'Manu tore us to shreds' - inside England's sensational 2012 win

I'm old enough to remember when England's victories always came with 10-year intervals - 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993, a pattern that we finally managed to beat in 2002.

Today will make or break Jordie Barrett at 12 I think... if he plays well, NZ win. If he's exposed, NZ lose... and he goes back to 15 for good.

I’m more thinking how they might expose Clarke, who they will chip in behind, and encourage to isolate himself.

Although largely they will be just trying to come out of the blocks firing, trying to summon 2019 again.

This footage of Nowell chasing kicks in training suggests Clarke should be ok

England will be rabid today. NZ need to deflate them somehow.

I wouldn't count on it. England looked lke they were just going through the motions in the last game.

England don't know how to play fast and powerful, and they dont have the personnel to do that anyway. Just more Eddie bullshit, AB's way too smart to bite on that rancid bait. If England keep the margin to under 20 they can claim a moral victory.

Asmo et al, the mockers won’t bite on such rancid bait.

Yep, manipulate him into bad defensive positions (not hard) and England could have a field day.

And a nightmare interception to follow up, although my God it took forever to come down off the top. Beyond the 15. Jesus.

What the fuck was Hill doing at the maul? Literally backing away until it was over the line.

On this showing he needs to go back to school. Useless.

Lucky, there.

Also, the All Blacks butchered the try that should have been scored in the run up to that maul.

Greta Van Fleet is not having a great game so far. NZ doing the same as they did against Scotland. Early points and then falling apart.
