What a shit show.
Why can't we just enjoy what was an entertaining tournament?
Instead its turned into whether a kiss was consensual, why a goalie's kit wasn't made available for sale (who the fuck buys a goalie replica shirt anyway?) and Megan Rapinoe trying to remain relevant?
I am big supporter of women's sport but it really needs to try harder to become more likeable, instead of being a never ending whinge-fest played out in the media, if it wants to win more followers.
Ask the Spanish cunt that committed sexual assault. (it is by Spanish Law before you whinge further)

Good thing for him it didn't happen in Spain then.
What do you want to happen to this guy? Jailed for 10 years on the beast's wing?

On the keeper's kit. It is actually impressive that these companies put their misogyny before their profit motive. It would be better if they put other things before profit. I wouldn’t give the Spanish FA any leeway here or its ruthless president.

Considering everyone else has quit apart from the manager who got his job due to his Daddy being in charge higher up in Spanish football, probably indicates the Spanish team won despite their manager.

Probably won't register on the international news but Ireland chose not to extend the contract of their (female) manager who got them to their first world cup. Rumours of player discontent and the allegations of misconduct in the US that won't go away.

Yikes. Unsolicited kisses are sexual assault. This bloke is effectively upper management who took it upon himself to smooch a junior employee against their wishes. That's wrong any way you cut it. If the footballer wants to press charges he should face whatever the legal consequences are.
I do kind of get what you mean about it often seeming like women's sport is a cauldron of complaint that plays into certain negative stereotypes about women and can put off the public, but something like this is a far cry from the US women complaining that the pay deal they negotiated wasn't as good as they thought it would be.

Socks the guy was on the telly and he clearly thought he had the type of relationship with her that he could lay the smack down. He was wrong. He comes across as a bit of a nob so c'est la vie but he isn't in the taliban stopping women walking about and being educated. The UN making a statement. The fucking UN. Please.
The fire could have been put out instantly with a quick mea culpa. Instead they put out a fake statement that said she was cool with it. That's outrageous behaviour for a national sporting organisation.

The McGregor loving knacker Ooh Aah Up de Ra captain wanted shot of her and what the knackers want these days the knackers get
I wonder if that was the start of her problems with the players. McCabe doesn't come across great IMO.

If a boss in other walks of life made that sort of miscalculation about their level of relationship with a junior member of their organisation and it ever got out to the public, they'd also be staring down the barrel of some consequences.
There are levels to sexism and discrimination, you don't have to be insisting women not be allowed out of the home or marry their rapists to be at fault.
Yeah, it's definitely not the UN's sphere to be operating in. Bit of opportunism there on their part. Fifa already seem to be dealing with it by suspending the guy and exerting pressure on the Spanish FA.
