Just had the weirdest mother of all hail/thunderstorms here in South Wales. Heavy thunder out of nowhere, dog wasn't best pleased, but stopped after around 4 heavy blows.

10 minutes of solid hail, an inch thick on the ground - seems to have calmed now.
