Bordeaux knackered as predicted by everyone but have also completely lost their shape in attack and defence since Jailebert went off

Shameless buying of a penalty.
Stats update, Sinck ended with 10 passes and six carries in 50 minutes.
Pales in comparison to Thacker, 13/10 (for 23m) and 12 tackles... Mad stuff

Sweet pass for that try. Earl got run over earlier and was in no man's land there, but I think it was just the quality of the pass that did for him

Yeah, but Thacker has to do that to make up for his size. If he didn't have the insane workrate and good pace, he'd just not be good enough.
Sinks workrate for a tighthead is absolutely insane.

I’m not convinced that 10 passes and six carries are the kind of stats you particularly want from your prop!

How many carries do you expect from a tighthead?
Sinckler's point of difference has always been his handling ability to go with being a very strong bloke.

is that Olivier Roumat’s boy in the row for Bordeaux? His mum must be a looker, cos he’s nowhere near as ugly as his dad.

His handling is insane, but for me, half the time I'd say his point of difference is the fact he's still one of the first chasing kicks 60 minutes into internationals :D.

This has been a very entertaining game. Not sure it's been the most strategic or tactically smart display, but I'm not complaining.

Some weird stuff from this ref. Like a ref who is doing an U14s match and wants to keep it flowing.

OK, so the ref evening that up a bit. Nowhere near the ball, then 2 players in contact, so a ruck, then uses his hands. Never a turnover either.
This is laughably poor. Ref is going to give something so he can blow the whistle and let someone win.

Out of interest, did they let the leg injury guy back on?

Toga will be happy, Malins gets motm - think it should have gone to someone who was good in the first half though. Radradra or Thacker or Randall for me.

Did you clock the scrum decisions in extra time there?
Bristol shove early, no probs and it leads to their winning try.
Bordeaux shove early at the very end of the game and are penalised.
All players, and fans, want is consistency

Racing Sarries, bloody awful game, step too far for Sarries, cant see Racing beating either of the other semi finalists.
