Very unfortunate. He was playing well and it was such an unnecessary and pointless piece of play by the Bulls player. It had zero impact and just injured an opponent.

Cheetahs look really good. Still signs of their traditional sloppy 2nd half defence, but overall they look like a very balanced team. I really hope they do well in this comp, as they've been treated so badly by SARU.

Who is the Cheetah's 6? What a livewire. BJvR also looks like a real natural 13, much be easy with Frans on the outside.

Marco van Staden really is a class player. Boks could really use a strong fetcher in the Lions series.
