Just making too many incorrect decisions ball in hand. Feel like we don't have any direction from Weir as the ball isn't moving in the correct direction. Had a few number advantages on Darcy's wing last few minutes of that half, but ball went blind or inside.

Italy playing well. Poor by Scotland so far, though losing two of our best players so early can’t have helped.

Much as I have always liked Weir, and he’s trying, you long for a Russell or even a Hastings to do something a bit unpredictable. Plus Weir’s tackling has been a bit powderpuff - the overlap for the (very good) try came directly from him bouncing off his man.

Scotland need to get out of second gear. We look sluggish. Hogg’s attempt at a Holyrood pass there shows he’s frustrated and is trying things that aren’t on.
