Kiwias,

Much as I'd love to finally meet up, my movements are currently restricted by this bloody electronic ankle bracelet.

(Kidding. Just a bit too busy right now - hope you fellas have a great time!)

HB with a comfortable lead over Stags 33 - 7, with a bonus point, and only 7mins to play.

Weber and Fakatava a decent halfback pairing

Canty treating it as such, taking the three points on their first two penalty chances

Cant kicking has been superb and largely responsible for their position.

Tight in the end. Had Cant by 1.

Makos left themselves too much to do. Cant's kicking in a different league to them plus they murdered Makos at breakdown.

Great watch.

Got to admit that Burke in particular has real length on his kicking

He's playing very well. He and Harford are quite the one-two punch for Canterbury.

I like Burke's poise. He has power, speed and a great kicking game but above all it's the poise he has that impresses me... he has time to make good decisions. It's a sign of a very good player. I hope to see him advance and improve with a possible AB jersey in his future.

A natural fit for the Crusaders as back up for Burke. I also hope Hotham gets a contract with the Crusaders.

Hotham was good value for the Saders this year, in tandem with Drummond, so he should be right. That was a great break by him tonight. Our young depth at halfback's looking very good. Fakatava's done well to get back from two serious injuries. His best is yet to come.

She’s good value. I couldn’t really hear it listening on the laptop but they were laughing and ribbing each other with something about ‘last night’.
