We are in kak Sards. Diep kak, so there is nothing to brag about. Lions this weekend in Bobbejaansberg is a lost case.

I still worry about the Bulls defense and error rate, the amount of unforced errors this season so far is almost more than the last 2 seasons combined. And their defense is as good as catching water with a strainer. I am glad that we are in the position we are in, but I am a lot less confident of a win each game than I were for the previous 2 seasons, if the Bulls somehow make it to the final again with the current way they play this season I will be very surprised. They almost threw it away against the Stormers after dominating most of the game (even dominating the error statsOomStruisbaai wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 2:00 pm Bulls are in a great space. Only 2 home games so far and 3rd on the log.. Also great to see the good spirits between the two teams players. Something the French can learn from.

To many games this season had this script of being on top during the game just to see it all unravel in the 2nd half, a few games even when from leading at HT to being absolutely demolished in the 2nd half. White is to stubborn with relation to his coaching team.

Wow !
I guess it helps if you don't have to give up most of your best players to the National squad, but you still need to do the business, so well done Zebre

Well done Zebre, of course.
But I'm still too angry at how poor Edinburgh were to be properly gracious.
The coaches have to go. Our local club coaches would do a better job with the players at Edinburgh.

Muster v Scarlets is an absolute cripple fight.
I find myself hoping the floodlights will fail.

All logic says that it touched some blade of grass as he slid & rolled, so it would have been incredibly harsh to scratch it off, whatever Quinny says

It's not like Ulster are missing any players due to the internationals.robmatic wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 7:10 pm Is that the Benetton 2nds that cuffed Ulster? They normally struggle during the international periods.

Jake can't be around much longer. He has access to pots of money and some really good players, but his team just can't come together.

Yeah fair enough but if we lost a euro game based on that, I'd be a teeny teeny bit annoyed.fishfoodie wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:40 pmAll logic says that it touched some blade of grass as he slid & rolled, so it would have been incredibly harsh to scratch it off, whatever Quinny says

Connacht win 24 - 19 with Cardiff not being able to do as well with the infamous Galway wind in their 2nd half.
There is something wrong at both the Stormers and the Bulls.
Stormers have 8 or 9 Boks including the Bok captain in their team and they lose to the Lions by 10 points. It's not just that they lost, it's how they lost. They played inept rugby.
The Bulls lost to a 13 man $harks team. 10 Boks to 4.
Both the Bulls and Stormers looked clueless, rudderless, captainless and poorly coached.
It can't be long before the Glass guy and Patrice expect a bit more flash and return on their money.

Regardless of whatever talent they may possess, they must be the dumbest team in professional sport. I can't imagine another group of individuals that are paid to do a task, manage to be as incompetent as Ulster Rugby.
That 2nd half performance yesterday was an utter disgrace. Tom o'Toole should be dropped for a very long time for his impressive piece of stupidity getting a try chalked off. Doak also needs dropped. We need a new front 5. We need a captain.
Just a few things . .

Ja the Bulls really should have won that. Killed as at scrums and mauls, and an outrageous penalty count.Chilli2 wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 7:25 pmGood win for the Sharks.assfly wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 8:38 amThis place is dead these days. I think it's high time White is held accountable. He should be doing much more with this team.

My team is well thicker than your's. We are the biggest, thickest and smelliest pack of losers.
Watch the Matty Rea non-try around 68mins yesterday for a great example of how to shoot yourself in the foot when chasing a match.

Fortunately I'm not an Embra fan. Don't think I could take the double whammy of supporting them and Scotland. My team's C-squad just took the 5 points down in Newport.Jim Lahey wrote: Sun Feb 16, 2025 9:16 amNo chance mate.clydecloggie wrote: Sun Feb 16, 2025 8:08 amstart paying attention to Edinburgh for a free opinion revision.Jim Lahey wrote: Sun Feb 16, 2025 6:58 am

Credit must goes to the Lions. They are the one SA franchise who improved the most since the start of the URC. Stormers and Lions will fight hard to get in the top 8 of the URC which will be awesome. Our franchises still need to work out the loss of Springbok players to be competitive with the likes of Leinster and Toulouse. But then no one else is close to them except the poaching French.

Its good news for the Stormers.
I remember saying that SARU was funding the Stormers by covering players salaries. This is exactly that proof.Sards wrote: Mon Feb 17, 2025 1:20 pm Dweba is leaving for Exeter at the end of the season.
