Stormers lost 5 out of 6 lineouts. Useless destroying the Munster scrum if your own lineout is village.

10-3 Munster FT
Zero points in the 2nd half.

Stormers have no chance with a donkey at 2, cart horse at 10 and football idiot at 15.

Does anyone know if Ben Loader is any good? 320 minutes of Rugby so far and no-one has passed to him yet.

Scored a ry in Stellies. Davids is a much better wing.

SMZ had two disappointing games. All the hype but then he is a 10 not a 12.

Everyone from 9-15, plus Herschel and Flower-power were all garbage. Roos should punch every back in the nuts.

$harks have some serious problems at 2 and 9. I like Richardson, but his lineouts are terrible. Cameron Fucking Wright is actually getting paid to play this badly. James Venter had a shocker too; two penalties and two knock-ons in the first half. I'm not very impressed with Francois Venter so far.

At the risk of ridicule, I don't think there is any need to panic just yet. The gameplan we are transitioning to is very different from our previous style. It's taking a while to stick, and I don' t think we're that far from it finally clicking. Speeding up the game is always going to cause more knock-ons and turnovers. But I think our main problem is currently not having the skillset to execute the gameplan.

Mchunu looks phenomenal despite the losses. I like our young locks. Buthelezi looks better at 7 than 8. Am is back and our back 3 looks good.

I know we're bottom of the table, but there are 5 teams above us with 1 win each. A couple of Ws could put us mid-table.

I look at the log and saw the Bulls are only 3 above the Stormers. Still early days.

The Sharks biggest worry is Curwin Bosch.

It isn't. He has many haters, but a more open game plan will suit him, like we played in 2019. Even his attempts to run it out showed the intent (the penalty Connacht won was wrong, the jackal went straight onto his elbows).

But he does need to fix his kicking game and improve. Boeta looks more comfortable at 15, so we have to back Bosch at 10.

I told you when you were getting windgat about the Stormers after an easy start that you should wait for the tour. Bulls look far and away our best side this year.
Worry about Cardiff. That's what you should be doing.

Sards, the Stormers are fine. Even if we lose against Cardiff. Its an away game. Losing home games like the Sharks did this weekend thats when you need to start worry. Away wins is a bonus, we have one and is mid table.

Don’t know so much about that bud, his decision making had an impact on the game in the second half. I would not write him off by any means, but running the ball up without any support with a wall of defense waiting for you must mean he did not analyse his options very well. On the other hand, Boeta is hardly a better option either. I was pretty impressed with the Sharks backline play, a shame about the unforced errors.

I don't think so !

I think Leinster should keep one set of brothers, H Byrne, & R Byrne, & Connacht will look after the Prendergast siblings ... it'd be a shame to break up a set, & obviously we've done a good job with Cian.

If transition's going to yield anything it'll be a lot of short term pain up front.

Munster had exactly the same start last year. Lost all our home preseason friendlies and 3 from 4 in the league. Looked unfit, lacking basic skills, thinking way too hard and execution was cack. Copped a huge amount of abuse. Performances only started picking up in December and we weren't humming till the new year, with another big wobble in March.

Never easy being the laughing stock but they need to stick with it.

Ja well that's the other thing. Not much backup. I hear the Hendrikse brother is still due to come back to Durban and join the $harks, which at least gives us another long-term option at 10. But our depth there is a huge worry.

"You lot"?

No fan in their right mind wants a sponsor's name in front of your name, let alone an utterly ridiculous one like Hollywood Bets. But we've got to pay the bills (Eben's salary) somehow.

I remember a few years ago watching a game that started "Welcome to Vodacom Park for this Vodacom Super Rugby match between the Vodacom Lions and the Vodacom Cheetahs"

The Sharks have been transitioning for year's now. That's the problem. There doesn't appear to be anything in the toolkit to make a change.

Whilst I don't have faith in Plum, no reason in Powell, didn't in Everitt and lost in du Preez before that, the Sharks have fundamental problems at flyhalf that are killing the team. It means we can't generate a gameplan that suits the coach nor players. Too flaky a kicker, too poor a game manager.

Have had some genuinely great squads the last few years. Achieved nothing as the game plan (when there is one) nearly always falls apart. And I don't think the squad is good now, some standouts that won't play enough and will be drowned out.

Been watching Robert du Preez with Sale Sharks. He has been great in his debut season with Maties and Stormers, moved to the Sharks and never got enough time to really develop.

Not sure about that. R du Preez played the vast majority of 2018 and 2019, he got benched at some point in 2019 after being pretty crap for a while (including from memory playing a good role in giving away ball that lead to drubbings), however:

He had Schreuder and Wright as his 9.
No discernible game plan. It was shovel, kick and sometimes give the ball to Esterhuizen to die.

In 2019, with Fassi on the scene, I absolutely thought we should have banked then on giving Bosch 10 time (as R du Preez just extraordinarily average with a low ceiling) and as we knew R du Preez was leaving early in the season we could have adopted an all out pace game plan - albeit we did need a 9 capable of that. Coach du Preez fucked that selfishly.

Moving to the $harks was a great decision for him. He ended up getting a contract with Sale and is doing incredibly well with them, just like his brothers.

Not everybody is cut-out for 100 Springbok caps. Getting a sweet deal overseas is often the pinnacle of Saffa players' careers.

He is trolling Sards. Who in turn then trolls oom with anti Stormers/WP nonsense. They don't stop. Ever. It really is quite remarkable. I do wonder sometimes what makes the two of them click, because they really are obsessed with having a go. It's like Bungs on PR, he also does the same thing. Or that Greenavenger chap, who is obviously not Irish, it is sort of interesting what makes a person so determined to post the same thing everyday in order to get a response from a select group.
