Connacht with a few winnable fixtures to close out the regular season, but they need to keep in the hunt before them to get into the Champions again next season.

It takes multiple years of participation & building a squad before you can reasonably expect to progress, & the extra money from these fixtures comes in very useful, & I know players want to play at the highest level, & if they have a choice of going to a club in the Champions Cup, versus one isn't, they'd prefer the one that puts them in the shop window for International duty !

Important to win the home games. The next three (Leinster/Ulster/Embra) for the Stormers will be vital. They are all above them on the log.

What are our thoughts on the $harks / Lions game on Saturday?

It is in Deben and the weather seems to be hot and humid.

On paper, it should be the $harks by 20, but the Lions have been playing well.

The Lions are playing a nice and expansive style, will they be able to keep it up in Deben?

Will the $harks juggernaut crush them?

It is a lank important game for both teams.

My thoughts / opinions/ conclusions are that the $harks are massively underachieving with their star studded squad and All Black coach.

Whereas the Lions are doing ok, considering their players and coach.

The result of this match should be a forgone conclusion.

9 Springboks is pushing it. In our starting lineup for tomorrow, only 2 are first-choice starters (Ox and Eben).

You're also ignoring the log. The $harks are bottom of the log with 9 points, the Lions are 12th on 19 points.

The $harks have won 1 game from 8, yet every week we have to go through this "Bok laden $harks are favourites" schtick from all corners. It's just tiresome.

Oom, I am told that we are wrong about this.

The cash strapped $harks with only 6 RWC winning Springboks and 3 regular Springboks in their team stand no chance of beating the Lions who are filled with proper superstars.
Just look at the log. The high flying Lions are way above them on the log, having beaten so many more teams, while rhe $harks are cellar dwellers at the bottom of the log.
The $harks coaching staff are also inferior to Cash and Ricardo.
Home ground advantage also counts against the $harks.

Honestly I believe that the Lions will poes klap the $harks by 30 or 40 points.

Sadly Sards is on awol, when the Stormers beat the Lions at home he claimed they are easy beats.

Ox disappeared aswell, flying the Sharks flag. So I take it on me. The Sharks by plus 20.

Also good of the ref to let the Lions 3 get away with continual high tackles. Presumably on the basis his stomach is so massive he can’t bend
