You are to throw a raw (uncooked) egg out of a window, from at least the second floor of a building, without it breaking.
Your challenge is to get it the furthest away from the other competitors, within your encasement.
You are provided with
Cardboard (as much as you need of packaging quality).
Drinking straws (the non bendy type)
Straw (dried grass)
Sellotape (as much as you need).
Come up with a design.
I'm sole judge.

When a robot can dance better than you ever could.
Watch without sound, they look like they’re ready to kill you.
Yes, I see what you mean the grandad of the T-800.
Some incredible engineering by any standard though.

Nah. It's the failure of the Google boys who cannot find a decent answer.
I'd say, have a go. I'll tell you what you want to get right.

Wrap it up in all the packing stuff and boot it out the window whilst laughing maniacally at your competitors who you have sellotaped up, with straws in their mouths to breath, writhing on the floor.
Collect trophy and drink Champagne.

Terribly sorry "old bean" but you can add all the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ you like. You don't have a clue. Do try not to post your ignorance. Try an attempt at an answer.
I doubt you can. That says at lot about you. Not me.

What a hillock are you? A small one. Try and answer the question. You cannot, can you! Proves your worth.
You do realise this is the sort of experiment that basically everyone has done at least once in their school room physics classes? It's not some sort of deep thought exercise.

So. Post the answer.
Actually I'm more interested in your answer. I've a few ideas, but I want to know what the actual challenge is in terms of what you think is best, seeing as you've placed yourself as sole judge.

I really don't mind if a poster gets a good solution. It may be better than mine. It's for entertainment during lockdown but certain posters think it a good idea to have a go at me.
I'm a sailor. I've weathered plenty of storms in my time. Water off a duck's back.
Forget about me. Just have a solution of such.

I do. You clearly have your best idea. Let's see it/read it.

Happy to let others judge really. It's the thought process that interests me. I was given this challenge at a conference centre up the A1. I bunged my effort from three floors up, against another five teams of six.

But mine might not be ideal. I'll hang fire. Nobody as yet has put up a possibility.

Of course I use Google. Who doesn't? So use it, clever clogs and get the answer. I'm waiting.
Oh do shut up you silly little man. I have absolutely no interest in your puzzle, neither does anyone else by the looks
