Around 9000 infants died in Ireland’s church run homes for unmarried mothers from 1922-1998. That sounds like quite a lot to be honest BUT the even more staggering statistic is this amounted to 15% of the children born or living in those homes!!! That means it was safer in the trenches of the First World War than being cared for by the ‘good Christians’ manning these affronts to human decency. God bothering should be a crime and all the mindless sky fairy worshippers shamed for being gullible zealots!!
