To be fair it was a well worked try with a decent amount of deception in there so i would not be too hard on him,

Noticeable to me how much the commentators want to describe the Blues as really good. They're desperate for them to be better than they are.

Highlanders were excellent. They're defensively extremely well organised, everyone knows their role and trusts the guys around them to do theirs.

Yeah. The Blues aren’t worth any hype. The forwards have plenty of potential, and look good on paper. The backs are all mediocrities at the moment.

Yeah, the much-lauded Blues loosies were outshone by their Highlanders counterparts. Frizell is in amazing form. When will he replicate this for the ABs?

Whole team was good, I thought Nugget was MOTM at 9, but just only ahead of Frizell, and the rest of the pack. Does my heart good to see this style of rugby played, where the team plan and pattern stymies the team of stars. I would add young De groot looks a promising lock, and Bryn Evans shows the old buggers are still good too.

Just how good was that game? Classic Kiwi rugby. A Smith absolutely monstering Sotutu was the highlight for me, it was one of the funniest things I have seen on a rugby paddock for some time.
