Notsche deserved a red , citing and ban from rugby for 2 years because of his tackle on a thug....

If you are going low for a tackle and the opposition player also goes down and heads collide well then thats accidental.
Direction and intention.
If you are going in an upward trajectory like this Stormers thug and your tackle goes off the shoulder into the head well thats a yellow or red.
Direction and intention.
Passing has been sorted out by following the same principle...
But the Stomps are very unhappy that their thug has been carded and Notsche not....and they lost the match....now Notsche is the reason for the loss.

That's a pathetic article.
Poor technique from the whiner to lose his footing in perfect conditions.

Elite poster, please get it right.
As to lowering myself to this level of trolling, no thanks. You want a bite, you need better bait.

Ouboet is a maverick, one of a kind. He makes the rules as he goes.

I see Trokkie Augustus is off to Northampton. He's been very disappointing as a senior player. He just seems to have a poor workrate. He always strikes me as being a little overweight and not being as conditioned as new could be. Maybe a move to hooker like Ashley Johnson would have been the best thing for him. Evan Roos is already a better player than him anyway so a net gain for WP.

I think Augustus will do incredibly well with Northampton. They love their big, heavy 8s there and he'll be properly coached too.

Agreed. Great talent; just need to be nurtured. Maybe can work a little on his conditioning a little, but he runs great lines for a big man and is always close to the action.
I think he will become a fan favourite at Saints. Big loss for us WP/Stormers IMO.

He is a bit tall for a hooker I think.

He will become an excellent player in those conditions and with proper coaching.
OurU21 team is our "b" team, so they cannot play for another country?

2cm shorter than Bismarck and Marx
I just think he lacks pace for a world class no. 8.

You could be right, but I think Trokkie is deceptively fast and picks excellent running lines when carrying.
It's tough to say without an out-and-out footrace, but I don't think there's much difference in pace between him and somebody like Vermeulen.
Slower than Notshe or Carr for sure, but, in my mind at least, on par with most of his peers.
I guess it depends on how you end up balancing your backrow; and the interplay between the unit.
I don't think we've really exploited what he brought to the table properly.

He's fatter than Adriaan Strauss now. He's no doubt been hanging around with Frans Malherbe.

Just kidding. The lad is an absolute brute but like Billy V has a body type that needs very careful management from both an injury and performance perspective. If his listed height and weight are accurate, 116kg and 1.87, he might benefit from dropping 5kg imo. Would certainly improve his explosiveness and work rate.

Fat don't render when you microwave it.
