Motoring on fellas. Might be nice to get a lady on board. They've been chased off but I'm still in contact with one who recommended a very nice hotel in New York, near Central Park.

Non smoking. The breakfast was stunning.

Toughie is by Robyn. Don't know him/her.

A propos of nothing, just for amusement, I was in a hotel when we went down for breakfast and a colleague moaned about his eggs and bacon being cold. Next morning his breakfast was served by a waitress with "asbestos gloves". It was so hot the plate was glowing!.

But we loved that sense of humour and I went into the kitchen and told them it was great!

I spent a very nice night with a certain lady.

Little known fact - Dave Gorman is setting cyrptic crosswords for the Telegraph under the pseudonym "Django". He also publishes in the Indie as "Bluth", and has just started for the Guardian as "Fed"

The crossword gurus have known he's a cryptic fan. I'd tracked him back from the Django (Reinhart) sign on.

He must be a blues fan too.
