Really enjoying watching France play at the moment. The implosions are irritating, but the style is really fun to watch. France, Fiji and Japan all good fun.

If the Italians keep improving (especially with their u20s!) they'll be fun to watch soon too. Their u20s have been very impressive this 6n.

I agree. Feels like a lot of the second-tier nations have upped their game at long last.

Would like to have seen if there was a knock on from that bouncing ball.

Very nice try though, great individual work once he was given a good ball.

EDIT - That's a pretty clear knock on right?

Seeing what Dante brings just makes me think it's not so idiotic putting Simmonds or Earl at 12...

I think if he wants to go with a 6/2 bench, Simmonds could easily do a job at 12.

Not yet, but they are giving it a lash against the Aussies, considering this is a France B side, they are doing great

Feck me they're going over the top about that pass... "Aaron Smith pass." "Bullet" etc.

It wasn't bad for a prop, but it wasn't exceptional either.

Aussie commentators, everything half decent done by an Australian player is smothered in hyperbolie

France clearing going very direct, that pen was a joke, Hooper had his hands clearly on the ground before he got to the ball

Michael Hooper is some player. Not a big bloke either in an era of giants.

France still showing scary depth, and youth, with this side. 2 years for the world cup, and they're going to be one hell of a force.
