Can't count how many times I've listened to this today. Drums smashing with the words of the chorus.

Heard this again recently for the first time in years, decades actually. Brilliant song which I now can't get out of my head. 7/4 meter just hooks you in...

Not sure if the chorus is bangin' - but it is beautiful.

OK - it's pop.....but it is an absolute banger of a chorus.

Do you know other Jimmy Eat World? Not so much 'bangin' but sweet choruses in these:
"Can you still feel the butterflies..."
"Can we take a ride? Get out of this place while we still have time"

With the greatest respect, I think a lot of these recommendations are utter shite.

Feel free to post songs that aren't!
Well I've recommended one already and perhaps why it's so catchy.
However, you could likely name at least half a dozen songs from bands like Abba or the BeeGees that have some of the greatest hooks ever written and I'm too young for their stuff, my era is New Wave and Brit Pop.

It's arguable that it's a chorus in the conventional sense, more of a refrain in each verse but since it's a damn good one so I'll let it pass

Can’t go wrong with Peter Gabriel but Waterboys Whole of the Moon I had forgotten about and that is special.

In what way?
Because the choruses aren't bangin' enough......or because you understand music better than everyone else?
I'm not a huge Gabriel fan - but your input is just as valid as me putting up a cheesy pop song that happens to have a catchy chorus.
