Fantasy Rugby: Superbru

Thought I'd better say something about this on NPR having noticed the

thread.

History
In short, I organised and ran all the PR related fantasy comps on the SportsGuru site which was the NH side for Superbru until both were merged into Superbru. The earlier FR comps were run by Tae and Mr Blonde on
http://www.fantasyrugby.com/
which I think is now defunct.

Back then they were run as Planet Rugby pools which PR itself had no issue with: on the contrary, we had some huge pools. Then, without warning, PR started running their own pools which only became apparent when they advertised them on the home page. Regardless of whether they gained traction or not, this made the position ridiculous and in effect we had PR "official" and PR board variants. So I amended the name for the board's pools to Plan Et Rugby and we adopted Fliddy as our

In effect these already were NPR before the NPR board existed.

Current state of play
One of the limitations of Superbru was the reliance on one person to do all the organising hence I had them build in some delegation features. Consequently Puma has access to all the Plan Et Rugby functions too. However, that does not overcome
one remaining limitation: it's impossible for either of us to create or manage a pool in which we don't compete. This is dumb because, for example, I can't be arsed with turkey shoots like TRC or non rugby related comps but it means I cannot set them up. TBF, Puma does most of the other stuff anyway but some comps still get missed.

You are able (or should be able) to join the Plan Et Rugby "Club" here:
https://www.superbru.com/club/plan_et_rugby

which means you'd get the invites to stuff like the URC without the need for setting up tiny, NPR specific pools here.
