Good to see you back Glob. Yes you are.
Now, there’s a rugby match on.
Yep. Good game, good game.
3.15 is KO for the next one. I'll not be glued to it though a match in Rome is always nice.

Latest rugby based op. Local anaesthetic for this.
Not expecting that one. Maxillofacial job. Next up is to see if I've any discs left in the back.
But grandchild on the way. Had a bit of a false alarm and the floods meant direct line to the hospital blocked. But "alles in ordnung".
Looking forward to imminent battle. My great mate from Pontadawe and I have had a decent verbal skirmish.
He scored the best try I've ever witnessed. Line out. Around the front, several dummies bought. Never more than about a yard from touch and then the auld blighter put it down between the posts.
Makes us 10's look good in the stats for conversions instead of horrid pots from the sidelines.
Especially in a swirling gale.
Memories are made of this. Fingers crossed for a great match. Hope the bulldozer is not on the wing.

Boot, fist, arm?
Flanker or opposition flyhalf?
Needs more detail.

All the best Globbie! Looking forward for a post-op report.
Cheers False Bay.
Whenever I see your name I'm reminded of a sail around the bay in South Africa which sailors mistook for the entrance to Cape Town. Plus the vineyard there of the same name.
Being a sailor and interested in lighthouses, our visit to the one off Cape Horn was rather good. There's a ruddy rock out there that's caught out plenty over the years.
Plus, Cape Horn is NOT the most southerly point! I've sailed around it. The waters from two great oceans meet there.
As my granddaughter says, "It's a bit tricky granddad".
Be nice to get in direct contact one day. You will find an interesting bedfellow.
Been to visit where tourists don't go. Story of my life.
Visit to Newlands treasured, plus the restaurant nearby.
Wonder if you know my antipodean mate from New Zealand. Been friends for many years. Was due to take a trip there but the back is in a bad place.
Best wishes.
G.

maybe Cape Point ?
My grey matter slipped somewhat! Not been around Cape Horn but have trundled around the Cape of Good Hope.
Must get out and smell the roses.

the Cape of Good Hope is actually a fairly modest feature just about west/north-west of Cape Point, on the tip of the peninsula.
That is it sticking out on the left of this pic

He's been Chairman of the Conservative Party Strategic Development group for the last 6 months. Couldn't you tell?
