Sophy Devine pokes the ball back to the bowler.

Difficult to see NZ coming back from here.

Game on?

Game done, you mean.

With Devine there, NZ stood a chance. With her gone, the 45 runs off 35 balls is nigh on impossible.

Did she just attempt a mankadding there?

Stopped in her delivery stride, but the non striker hadn't left her crease.

Next delivery goes for four.

10 from 7.

Another four,

Six need from the last over.

After looking down and out NZ are now favourites heading to the last over. I have a nasty feeling about this still though.

Oh dear, run out without facing a ball (hate it when that happens). It did feel with this NZ side that the most dangerous time was when they got their noses in front.

Oz did it easy against England

India hammered Pakistan after looking like getting skittled after losing 5 early wickets

NZ up against Bangers in Dunedin today - if it bloody stops raining. We cannot afford to drop a point here

It’s looks pretty wet at the moment.

Are we any chance if it’s rained off or is that us suffering the ignominy of England 2015 going out in the group stages of our own World Cup (with less hubris obviously)?

It’s on but reduced to 27 overs. Bangladesh are off to a flyer at 47-0 in the 7th over. Big pressure on NZ.

It's a bit of a race against the weather as they must play 20 overs for a result to be recorded. NZ in complete control at the moment

A win by 9 wickets in only 20 overs, Bates and Kerr totally dominant.

What’s the mine next to the University Oval in Dunedin? I haven’t seen it before but in some shots it’s a pretty expansive hole.

Could there be a renaming to the Contiki University Oval?

The catch at gully and the runout of the backing up batter were pretty good
