If only they all looked like that, but sadly others look like the Michelin Man.

What is this air travel of which you speak?

They are pretty much universal here - worn for anything.

And I support that wholeheartedly

Same here, proper yoga pants or leggings in general that weren't meant for it.

Sadly (for pervs, but fair play to women), it's also common to have a shirt long enough just to hide the bum.

They are ubiquitous across the states now, surprised you hadn't noticed Froggy...your typical young woman about town will be wearing them to do her shopping, pop by the grocery store, etc.

As fishfoodie says though it can come back to bite you when some walrus jams herself into a pair, and you are without escape as you and all passersby are then subjected to every horrible nuance of her cellulite ridden ass.

Do they tend to camel toe at the front?

Asking for a friend.

I would still have to agree, it's just less of a settled question if you live in a country where the average BMI is in the 30s.

Pretty common here too in Bumfuck Ck. But when did tights become 'yoga pants'?

In some cases, yes... but those are more your mumble pants. Yoga pants seem to be enclosed at the toe.

To be hip with the kids you’re supposed to look like you just walked out of the gym on your matching LuluLemon two piece sports bra and yoga pants. Preferably in recycled bamboo or similar environmentally friendly fabrics

For added points you do yoga poses at any random photo op to go on your instagram account .

Suspect it's more that they're really comfy - the same reason why in these wfh times I'm almost always wearing shorts.

I have no idea what 'mumble' pants are or look like. Is the name because of the noise you make when your head is buried in the gusset?

Did the hair grow back on the bare patches on your legs?

Not quite... it's a reference to seeing the lips move but not hearing the words.

Was looking for the travel thread but here's a thread that should have got more traction.

I am the same - when folk ask me whats the best thing about being retired it's always 'shorts and no socks' from me!

It has become difficult in the gym though - mine has mirrored walls and when I'm struggling to do my crunchies and planks on the floor surrounded by young women in tight yoga pants and crop tops there is nowhere to look without seeming a pervert!
