Long term contract by the sounds of it and not just a temporary appointment.

Great. He'll be stinking up the pre-match weeks again.

I see what they're doing but none of the challenges Pivac faced have disappeared with him.

He'll bring a certain pragmatism back to Wales at least.

They really need to sort out their S&C though. What's the current injury list post-November? Its usually staggering.

It wasn't the challenges that were the issue it was the retarded selection, the poor coaching and the fact that he lost the dressing room and made perhaps the worst substitutions ever seen on a rugby pitch.
We should at least beat Scotland and Italy.

He needs to bring back Tandy from Scotland as a start as Edwards is no longer available

1. No Shaun Edwards
2. Welsh Rugby is a flaming bin fire
3. Going back seldom works in sport

Here's hoping he crashes whatever legacy he left behind.

Do I need to remind you of the last lions tour and his exploits in new Zealand?

Seen the state of their u20's?
Last year's crew look like Craig Quinnell was the squad dietician.

I care not a jot, with Wales he delivered.

Can't believe worrah twatgland is back.

I mean of all the former Wales coaches..
We could have had Steve Hanson, a proper world cup winner, who always said he had an interest in returning at some point.

Think we will come regret being the "reality strikes again, we don't have enough decent players" side of the next world cup and having Gatland for another 4 years.

Is it too much to expect him thinking about where he went wrong with Wales, what regrets he has and what improvements he can make to Wales, over his time away. If he was, it would be something I guess.

...he really wasn't.

A fair point. And probably the only one who can pick the team up in time, given how familiar he is.

Right decision or no, least he backed Howley up on this one.

Comes across as the right sort everytime he's interviewed in depth.
