Find it amusing there doesn't seem to be any great motive to the leak. He just wanted to impress his mates on some shitty Discord server and it quickly got out of control for him.

That would at least mean company; but he's off to the Super-Max in Colorado, where he'll spend 23hrs a day alone in his 8x4 cell, & then 1hr walking alone around a drained swimming pool, with a view only of the sky directly above, so he can't even work out where his cell is.

Yep, was about to mention the various War Thunder leaks. Sure some guy posted a classified Challenger 2 Tank manual too during an argument about specs. Mindblowing the stuff people will do to win an argument or impress people online.

I'm in a job-line that comes across these people regularly. They tend to be be low in grade, above normal IQ, but low in esteem, typical nerd. Personally, and accepting that I'm technically a contractor too, these individuals are viewed as (outside the US) non-trustworthy. Regrettably, these persons seem to be given access to classified material which NATO protocols deny. The US military security system is fucked.

Yeah, I've encountered exactly this type before. In the US they gravitate towards the National Guard, & any job that allows them to carry a gun & wear a uniform, like horrifically, the summer "Specials", temporary police officers hired for the busy summer season in holiday towns.

The regular cops had feck all training, but specials didn't even have that much; & caused more crimes than they helped stop.

Anyone who takes a job so they can wear a uniform, or carry a gun, shouldn't be let within a million miles of the job, & fundamentally this is a complete failure of the vetting process of "Top Secret" access, cause by the shear size of the system.

Even "Top Secret" shouldn't have allowed him access to this stuff, because he had no legitimate "Need to Know", that's the another massive, massive failure.

The Israelis when fucking apeshit when shitgibbon casually doxed one of their sources to the fucking Russians !!!!!

If the yanks don't demonstrate that they are clamping down hard on this, & throw this dipshit to the wolves, then they'll have no reason to complain if the rest of the Intelligence community just cuts them out of the conversation.
