Navidi retires with immediate effect.
Great player plagued by injuries, gutted for him.

Feck sake

I always liked him, he just had something about him that was infectious, & you could see he loved playing.

Wish him well in his next career.

The old low down, jackling position as popularised by a Pocock, Hooper and Warburton and where Navidi was a keen disciple, is absolutely destructive as fuck to the body.

If anything is going to fail, its better their bodies (not designed for that shit) give out from the impacts, before their brains (seriously not designed for this shit) get fucked up from the impacts.

My favourite Welsh player. I really enjoyed watching him play. Big loss to the game. Hope he stays healthy

Always dreaded seeing his name on the opposition teamsheets.

Super player, couldve been a great had he not been so unlucky with injuries. Go well.
Ian Madigan for Ireland.

Was talking with a close friend of his earlier in the week and he was saying after the neck op failed, he knew it was over but took time to come to terms with it/admit it.

Looks like post rugby career in cars.
